We are very happy with Lyons Moving. They were professional, punctual, hard working, polite, and friendly. Jesus, Juan, and Breiner were careful loading and unloading. The furniture was wrapped very well to protect it from getting damaged. Prices were reasonable. They speak English and Spanish. We highly recommend Lyons Moving.

I needed to have a big piece of furniture moved from one pickup location to bring over to my place. I called two moving companies but Lyons Moving was the company that I chose right away because of their professionalism!
All of my questions were answered, they gave me a date and time, as well as my price (which was very reasonable) ON THE FIRST CALL! The person at the pickup location called and gave STELLAR REVIEWS about them stating “they are VERY PROFESSIONAL.” In that, I knew I made the right decision!
They were polite, ON TIME at pickup and dropoff, they safely brought the furniture in, and cleaned up after themselves!
I will ALWAYS keep Lyons Moving company in my contacts and will absolutely refer them to others!

Very happy with this moving company. They moved all our furniture & boxes in Riverside and drove to Lombard. Everything was packed prior to there arrival. The Riverside apartment was on the third floor with NO elevator. They used to back set of stairs so they would not bother the folks in the front entrance, which was much harder to do. Very hard to carry down the stairs with many turns but they new dinged the furniture. They wrapped all furniture and beds in plastic for protection including the big TV screen. You fill out forms on-line noting all your furniture, you estimate how many boxes you think you will pack. They will sell you boxes if needed. We did not purchase boxes we had enough of our own. Very reasonable price, you will get two calls, one once they receive your request for movers and a call the day before the move. The workers carry everything. At the new apartment they had to load the elevator & take to the 12th floor. No dings on the furniture, nothing damaged. A lot of heavy book boxes and shelving to move. Hard workers and very polite. Satisfied with the cost to move. Mark your boxes and the move will be quick and organized and they will take to each room. Excellent Company.
I used Lyons Moving during my last move and they were amazing! Four guys showed up and they showed up early. They were quick to load and unload the truck. As someone who has moved a lot, they were the most affordable movers I have ever had. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone moving in the Chicagoland area.
This review is long overdue. I recently accepted a job in another state that required me to move across the country in such a short notice. I was able to contact Lyon's Moving and they were able to accommodate me within a few days. Not only did this 3 man crew help me move my items to the shipping pod, but also packed, prepped, AND handled my furniture/items with such care. They organized the shipping pods so well that the moving crew in the other state were very impressed. All of my items arrived to the other side of the country without damage. Not only were they punctual, but also friendly, efficiently, and cost effective. They quoted me higher than what I was charged at the end of service, but I still gave them the quoted amount because they more than deserved it. I 100% recommend this company for your moving needs! Don't be like me and try to book last minute, they are definitely busy and are willing to work with you. There's a reason why they have multiple 5 star reviews!

Only hiccup is they showed up at the wrong address, a block away. Had 4 guys with a 26’ truck, it was excellente! No regrets!

Joel was responsive and wonderful to work with. He and Jose were so kind and they did a fabulous job moving a heavy vintage dining table and 8 chairs for us. Everything was wrapped and padded for safe transport and they were prepared to disassemble things if needed, though fortunately were able to do everything in one piece (including the very large table). They arrived early and were efficient. They cleaned everything up before leaving. They provided excellent value relative to other companies and we've used other local moving companies before, but I would absolutely hire Joel/Lyons Moving again anytime! Couldn't speak more highly of our experience!
