We have had a great experience with LYFE! They have been so easy to work with. I gave them our vision and they have taken the ball and run with it. I get a calendar with what is planned for the month and normally I might have 2-3 tweeks at the most. They really listen and understand what we are trying to accomplish. We have had really strong results as well--adding over a thousand followers on our facebook page in the past few weeks. I highly recommend the team at LYFE!!!
We engaged LYFE Marketing for paid media support and experienced mixed results creatively, but ultimately ended the relationship due to serious professionalism and reliability issues.
The final breaking point was a complete no-show for a scheduled Board of Advisors meeting. This was not a last-minute request—the meeting had been on the calendar for over a month, the role was clearly defined in advance, and multiple reminders were sent. There was no advance notice, no communication, and no contingency plan. This placed me in an embarrassing and unacceptable position with my board.
Unfortunately, this incident reinforced a broader pattern we experienced over time: when things were routine, communication was adequate; when accountability and leadership-level presence were required, follow-through was inconsistent. That is not acceptable for a firm entrusted with strategy, data, and executive-level commitments.
There are capable individuals at LYFE Marketing, but reliability at critical moments is non-negotiable. Based on our experience, I would caution other business owners—especially those operating with boards or leadership teams—to be very clear about expectations and risk tolerance before engaging.
We are very sorry we failed you and your board; missing a scheduled Board of Advisors meeting and the lack of advance communication are unacceptable and do not reflect our standards. We appreciate your candid feedback and recognize the pattern you described of inconsistent follow-through at critical moments. We are conducting an internal review, reinforcing confirmation and backup procedures for executive-level commitments, and implementing additional training and escalation protocols to prevent recurrence. I had high hopes going into this, but the experience hasn’t met expectations. The overall process took much longer than anticipated, especially in the beginning, and there wasn’t clear communication on timelines or what to expect during each phase.
