5 Stars – True Professionals Who Brought Our Vision to Life After speaking with several landscapers who just didn’t understand what we were hoping to achieve, we were so fortunate to find Dan and his team at Lush Designer Landscapes. From our very first meeting, it was clear that he not only got our vision but genuinely cared about bringing it to life in the most thoughtful and beautiful way. We had a very specific idea in mind for a custom firepit area: white cobblestones arranged in a circular pattern around a stunning teardrop-shaped firepit, designed to echo the materials, colours and style of our home. We also envisioned a half-circle of built-in seating, finished with elegant bluestone capping to tie it all together. Where others saw complexity, Dan saw the creative potential with confidence & clarity – and he absolutely delivered. A special mention must go to Shaun, who laid the cobblestones with exceptional care and artistry. He paid close attention to the natural nuances in each stone, placing them with such precision that the finished pattern feels effortlessly beautiful and perfectly balanced. His craftsmanship truly elevated the whole space. Dan and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process – professional, friendly, approachable, and always respectful of our property. He listened carefully, offered thoughtful suggestions, and the team executed every detail with incredible craftsmanship. The finished space has completely exceeded our expectations. It’s not only visually beautiful, but also functional, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the rest of our home. Amazing work! Dan and the team did a great job creating space for us outside. From design to completion, Dan was open to sharing ideas and then making it happen while also making decisions on the fly as needed. We were away for weeks of the build and had faith and trust that what we found when we came home would be fabulous. And it was. Easy to work with and knowledge of plants, design and products made our life easier.
