Very happy we got to work with Tom! He’s very knowledgeable about Starlink and made the whole process (from site eval to ordering equipment to install) seamless for us. He’s an excellent communicator and very reasonable. The whole installation was fast and stress-free!

Tom is awesome, he did a site survey for us during a home purchase, and performed a very professional installation of our dish. He is very knowledgeable about all things Starlink and made great recommendations throughout the entire process.

Tom is amazing and the service he provides is unmatched! We had a problem with our intermittent Starlink outages and Tom came out, gave us a thorough assessment, took pictures, identified exactly what the problem was, walked us through what to buy, and came promptly when we got the parts. He's a hard worker and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out his customers. He took the time to answer our questions, he's knowledgeable, and friendly. The contrast of customer service between Tom Mattheisen at Lone Pine Technology and Centurylink is enough to a person whiplash––and I mean that in a good way. Not only is Tom knowledgable about Starling installation, he's honest, he's on time, and he's in communication with you every step of the way. Tom even offers (unsolicited) an idea or two on how to save some money. That's a very rare commodity these days and we can't thank him enough for helping us out.

I called Tom at Lone Pine Technology when I needed my Starlink dish installed at my home. He came out and recommended that he get a custom mount made for me because there wasn't a good location on my house to use the standard Starlink mount. He arranged to have a much stronger and longer mount made that extended out under the eaves. He and his crew did a professional job installing it at a reasonable price. After installed on the mount, my download speeds increased! I highly recommend you call Tom for your Starlink equipment!

I own a mobile control trailer and am contracted out to incidents like large wildfires to provide office space, communications equipment and a place to operate air traffic control at pop-up Helibases. Part of what I offer is internet service. This service has to be via satellite and mobile. I bought the business 3 years ago and have had the opportunity to work with Tom a handful of times on updating software or troubleshooting equipment pre-season. He provides excellent support and is very knowledgeable and personable. The latest time was this spring when I had some challenges updating software on my auto-pointing unit. I was on and off the phone with him and the service provider all day. Technically it was a problem for the service provider to solve but Tom was happy to offer his assistance anyway. I can highly recommend Tom and his company if you're looking for someone to setup and support satellite or mobile internet. It's encouraging that this level of quality and service can still be found.

Jumping into the Starlink business to meet my customers needs had a learning curve. So glad I found Montana Satellite (now Lone Pine Technology). HughesNet is fantastic. I remember Valdez, AK and 50Mbps almost any day and night. Even though it's US only, as is most everything, it helped us out and is an excellent fill in where cell service isn't. If its all you have, like in Valdez, its magic.
Lone Pine Technology, Tom's place, is definitely where to go if you want or need these services.

Tom is great to work with and did a great job installing the RF Mogul dish on our motorhome! He is timely and professional. I highly recommend Montana Satellite for your Satellite needs. You'll enjoy working with Tom. I had an equipment issue related to my install and Tom coordinated the replacement part with the vendor to be shipped to our next stop.

I cannot say enough great things about this company, and especially Tom!! We have never seen such amazing customer service from any company or individual employee. No matter when we call or email with issues relating to our phone or internet satellites, Tom answers almost immediately regardless of the time of day or night. He is willing to travel the 2 hours to our house anytime we have needed him without question, and luckily he has been in the area every single time and able to come out and make the 4 hour round trip that same day. If you are in need of satellite internet or a satellite home phone system I would not hesitate to have them installed and maintained by them. I guarantee if you're with any other company you will not get such great customer service and you'll wait days or weeks to get someone out to you to fix your issues. We work from home and this system is integral and of utmost importance for our means of making a living. Therefore the unparalleled service we have received is not only appreciated greatly, but is necessary for us to maintain our business and livelihood. This company has the BEST customer service of any company with which I’ve ever dealt. My interactions have always been with Tom Mattheisen, the owner himself. When I first received my system, I had some difficulty with it (MY FAULT). Tom was available both via email and telephone to walk me through it until it was set up.
