Went with long fence because they're supposed to be as reputable company with over 60 years of business... Received an estimate, was told it would be 40% off of that estimate, math wasn't mathing and it was 40% off plus 300. I signed my contract on 12/3. Was told they were 2-3 weeks out and that someone will call me to set up the date for install. I got a random call from the contractor on a tuesday afternoon (1/6) saying they'll be there thursday. Long fence communicated nothing other than to sort out paymen. I called Long fence to say that wouldn't work for me, I was transfered to a voicemail so I left a message and received no call back. When the contractors showed up on thursday, they told me that the quote didn't include all of the things that the sales guy told me it would include (like a box around a tree, that the sales guy suggested and measured for. Or also the corner of the the concrete to make it even that was also suggested and measured for.) When they went to collect the final payments, the numbers on the envelope were more than what they were supposed to be as listed on the contact. I ended up having to pay the contactor and additional 300 dollars for supplies that weren't included by long fence. I feel swindled.
Fence looks great though, I guess. They finished it basically in a day only had to swing by this morning to put the gates on.
Long Fence installers just put in a beautiful new railing/fence along our frontstairs to the front porch. The old fence was 30 years old and wobbly. The 2 person team arrived early and worked hard all day and left the area spotless. They removed the old fence and even hosed down the entire area. We are so pleased! We want to compliment the sales rep (George Hope), the Estimator, the finance person (Cornina) and the Residential Sales Manager (Vicky Williams) and last but not least, our two excellent installers (my apologies for not getting their names). They were all personable, efficient, and kept us informed at each stage. We highly recommend this company. Thank you.
I did not have to shop around on this fence job at our townhouse in Herndon. Go to the right place (Long Fence) and get the job done right. Right price, right materials, right workmanship and right schedule. Great clean up like it never even happened and the new fence is very attractive. Sales guy was excellent, offering several options and installation crew was great. We couldn't be more pleased. And No! I don't work for them and they are not related. Just been around a while and know a great contracting company when I see one.

Overall excellent experience. Our sales person was Steve Crook. He delivered everything he promised. Great service, design, assistance. Prompt installation. Liked him and the company so much I hired them for another job. The first job was a wooden fence. The next one is an iron railing. Glad I selected Long Fence to install our wooden fence.

I had an excellent experience with Long Fence, from the free estimate to the final installation. The only hiccup was waiting for approval from my HOA. Once the material arrived, they scheduled the installation for the following week. It was a one-day setup, with professional customer service. Veronica F kept me informed throughout the process. We had a 5☆ experience with Long Fence for our deck extension. From the initial estimate, to the final product, everything went very smooth and we are very happy. Our lawn contractor damaged sections of the aluminum fence which Long Fence installed roughly 20 years ago. It has held up incredibly well over the years but sections and a post could not withstand the impact of a large power mower. Long Fence provided a reasonable repair estimate and it was installed capably and on time.

Had a double drive thru gate added to my existing chain link fence . Quoting process was super easy and was given a few options to go with . The gentleman that came out to set things up was knowledgeable and helpful. After that it was smooth sailing , called and set up an install date and crew showed up exactly when they were scheduled to be there.
Guys were easy to talk with and got right to work , once finished they went over everything and showed me the completed job. Could not be happier , from start to finish Long Fence did a A+ job ! Would definitely call them again for any future fencing needs.
