I have been under Dr Malik for just over a year, i had a stent fitted back in 2017, and ever since have been on various blood pressure tablets which make me feel very tired and a little dizzy At my last assessment he wanted me to try coming off my blood pressure medication and my blood pressure is now completely normal. I did lots of research on finding a new cardiologist at the time and he is one of the leading cardiologists in London. What i like is that he likes to think outside the box and holistically. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Malik if you are searching for a new cardiologist or a replacement for your existing one.

Dr Iqbal Malik is one of the finest cardiovascular surgeons we have ever encountered. My father, who is 89 years old, was suffering from severe coronary artery and valve disease. He was admitted to hospital in October last year with extreme shortness of breath and several other serious symptoms.
Following numerous investigations during his hospital stay, it became clear that he urgently needed life-saving valve surgery. However, due to his age and the complexity of his condition, many doctors were reluctant to operate.
We were fortunate to hear about Dr Malik and asked our GP to refer my father to him. Words cannot express how grateful we are for everything he has done for our family. Dr Malik was the only surgeon with the courage, confidence, and expertise to take on such a challenging case and arrange the surgery for my father.
Throughout the entire process, he showed exceptional professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and care. He treated my father with dignity and kindness and gave us hope during an incredibly difficult time.

cannot recommend Dr. Iqbal Malik and the team at OneWelbeck Heart Health highly enough. I needed a bubble study for a scuba diving PFO rule-out and was incredibly impressed that I could book the test just one day in advance.The entire process was seamless and efficient. The nursing staff were wonderful—the gentleman who handled my cannulation was so compassionate and kind, which really put me at ease. The test itself was quick, and I received the detailed report almost immediately.Dr. Malik was so reassuring during our follow-up call that I honestly wanted to hug him! He clearly explained that while a tiny, late shunt was noted, it was clinically irrelevant and not a PFO. It is rare to find such high-level expertise paired with genuine warmth. Five stars all the way for getting me back to diving with total peace of mind!

I have been seeing Dr. Malik for 3 years, he is an amazing Dr and I have enjoyed being his patient.
