Choosing Lodestar Montessori has been the best decision for our child's development. Matthias has been with the school since N1, and we have seen him transformed from a child who would only work if Ms. Kelly was nearby into a confident, independent learner who genuinely loves 'the work'. ​The safe, loving, and stimulating environment makes our son want to go to school every day—even on the weekends! Lodestar isn’t just about academics; it’s about respect, grace, courtesy, and fostering a deep sense of responsibility. Our son is never bored because he is encouraged to follow his own interests at his own pace. ​The mixed-age classroom has given him the unique opportunity to learn from older peers and eventually become a leader himself. The guides have a remarkable way of observing and supporting him without hovering, allowing his natural curiosity to lead the way. They truly go the extra mile to ensure every child feels seen and heard. ​They value the child's success as a team effort between the school and the family. In every parent-guide conference, we are encouraged to collaborate and ask questions, and the annual parent workshops are incredibly valuable. You can also tell that the entire staff treats each other like family; the turnover rate is very low, which was a very important factor for us when choosing a school. ​We couldn't ask for a more nurturing and empowering start to his education. The like-minded and positive community of parents is also a wonderful bonus in this journey. ​Once again, thank you Lodestar team for all that you do. Thank you for making this such a remarkable and memorable journey for our son!

My child has been with the school since N2, and as we reach graduation, I feel deeply grateful for the entire journey. The guides have been caring, patient, and truly attentive, supporting his growth in both confidence and character. I’ve also really appreciated the Montessori environment, which has nurtured independence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning. My son was 3 years old when he joined Lodestar Montessori Preschool . All I can say is I am really greatfull to all the guides and Principal for guiding and nurturing him so well. Not only him but all the children. They feel it like home, a place to grow and explore. A journey from shy little N2 to a confident and independent young K2 went so smooth. One of the few real authentic Montessori schools in Singapore, they follow the work cycles closely, mixed age environment, guides are AMI Montessori trained, materials are good quality. The environment is truly inviting, you only need to book a tour to find out for yourself. A true authentic Montessori education is one of the best gifts a child in their early years can have.

We feel so blessed to have been part of Montessori journey. The love, patience, and encouragement given by the teachers made Saanvi feel at home every single day. We’ve seen such beautiful changes in her from becoming more independent and responsible to developing curiosity, empathy, and kindness. Our daughter studied in LMP for 4 wonderful years. We would without a shadow of doubt recommend LMP to parents looking for a school offering holistic development of their child. The skills that LMP has imparted in our child is invaluable. The school provides a safe and enriching environment for young minds to thrive in. It has with a sweet balance of academic development and life skill. It's hones the childs mind in multiple planes of development and they are trained to be independent and self reliant from day one. Academic education imparted in ways that is very practical oriented which helps to strengthen the concepts. We would like to thank all the teachers in shaping my child into an independent socially responsible child.

When we made the decision to transition our daughter Nirvi from EKM to LMP, we had no reservations. Our only concern was how she would adapt to this change, especially the separation from her friends. However, on her first day back from school, she surprised us by telling us, "Amma, Baba, I really like this school." This brought us a sense of relief. Having embraced the Montessori philosophy for the past 8 to 9 years, we continue to be impressed by its principles, the materials used, and, most importantly, the pivotal role of the guides in this nurturing environment. We feel truly fortunate to have access to such an environment and dedicated guides for both of our daughters who embody Montessori ideals. We are especially thankful to Lodestar team for organizing timely workshops for parents, which have proven to be extremely beneficial. A heartfelt thanks also goes out to Ms. Ping, Shen Laoshi, and Ms. Pauline for making Nirvi's journey at LMP a truly memorable experience.

Let their children practice what they are teaching to students too :)At the outset My family and me would like to express immense heartfelt gratitude to founders Ms. Anjum and Ms. Shiela for Facilitating 100% Montessori education in Singapore. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to guides Ms. Kelly, Ms. Christine, Ms. Ping, Ms. Li Lao Shi, Ms. Shen Lao Shi, Ms. Pauline, Ms. Jeff and Principal Ms. Mary for supporting and being part of this. According to me education is the way of life and unfortunately, we missed the path somewhere and fell in different place than it should be. It made me worried and confused when I think about my children's education until I learn about Lodestar Montessori from My Friends. Our elder son Shanmukh joined lodestar 2 years ago and the results we see in his social and emotional skills are significant. He does his own regular activities like making bed, eat himself, wash hands, dress himself put back things in their place from past a year. He is thankful for the people who help him, and his resentment has dropped significantly. His clarity of thoughts and social skills are amazing me from past few months. The way he danced on stage in front adult audience with confidence and joy make me almost teary eyed. My Younger Son Atharv started going lodestar Montessori less than a year. He improved his social and communication skills. Learnt to eat himself, express his needs and what made me amazed is that he showers himself in organized way for just 3 years!!!!The way our both children run for school joyfully every morning allows me to say that guides here are mothers for the children. I feel secured emotionally and physically sending my kids to lodestar and believe everyone else feels the same :) Thanks to Lodestar Montessori family for treating our children like yours!!!!

Lodestar Montessori is a testament to the passion and hard work of its founders, Anjum and Sheila. Their commitment to authentic Montessori education has fostered a thriving school community. My son has been fortunate to have had Sheila as his guide and to have been part of the school. Montessori helped my child build a strong foundation. He has grown to be a confident learner, with strong problem solving skills and innovative thinking. He also demonstrates empathy, kindness and social responsibility. Lodestar Montessori always holds a special place in our hearts and we make it a point to visit the school and teachers each time we are in Singapore. My son built some beautiful memories and strong friendships that we will cherish forever!

I have so many things to say that I don't know where to start!! I am a very protective Mom who was anxious and nervous about sending my child to Lodestar Montessori Pre School as I had an unpleasant experience sending my child to other school in the past. However, Lodestar Montessori School won me over very quickly and allayed all my fears! Choosing this Montessori for my little one turned out to be one of the best decision I have ever made. The classroom/environment set up was amazing filled with beautifully designed hands-on materials that seemed to invite my child's curiosity and also fostered a deep love for learning. Seeing him immerse himself in activities like cutting papers, pouring water, matching shapes etc, I could tell he was slowly developing a sense of focus and co-ordination that I hadn't witnessed before. All the Guides played a crucial role in guiding him without imposing, allowing him to make choices within the environment. It embraced his natural inclination to explore and learn at his own pace. In a mixed- age classroom, he learned to interact with different age group children, gaining valuable life lessons like emapathy, co-operation and leadership. It’s funny sometimes, that as a parent, you learn just as much from your kid as they do from you. THANK YOU LODESTAR MONTESSORI PRE SCHOOL . We will miss you…

Thank you to all the staff at Lodestar Montessori Preschool for the guidance, care and love shown to our girl! She is growing and maturing so well. We see improvement in her emotional self-regulation, practical life skills as well as language capabilities. Sometimes when she gets angry/upset, she is able to go to her room, close the door and cool down on her own. She is also more open to learn cookng at home and sometimes tidies up on her own accord. In her spare time, she practices writing her name, reads aloud on her own and sings both English and Chinese songs. She will even try to respond in Chinese when I speak to her in that language! She loves school so much that she tries to take care of herself by getting enough rest every day. There is definitely much more joy and ease looking after her now. It also brings us immense joy (and relief) to see her enjoying learning and developing her personhood.

First of all a philosophy we swear by . Next and the best thing is the dedication of the teachers . Hats off to them . We owe so much to them for the individual our child is today .
