I started the year feeling pretty confused what to do for my fitness after struggling with back pain for a year and finding out I have a bulging disc. I wanted to get fitter but in the knowledge I was doing it correctly. This was when I saw LiveStrong advertised on Instagram. Although I bit anxious at first I really didn’t need to be! The sessions are exactly what I needed, Oli takes you through everything several times so you feel comfortable and doesn’t make you feel silly to ask time and time again if you are doing it correctly! Everyone I have met has been so friendly which makes an environment that you enjoy going to plus the accountability of having booked your sessions really helps you keep it up. Definitely the best decision.

If you struggle with confidence, and would love to join a gym i would recommend Livestrong. I joined due to having no confidence and didn't feel comfortable in a big Gym's. I look forward to my sessions and weirdly now feel guilty not turning up.

I started with LiveStrong following a tough pregnancy and c-section to rebuild strength and fitness at a good pace. Oli has been brilliant at providing support during small group PT sessions to help me reach my goal and is helpful outside of the sessions too. Classes are always easy to book with a good variety of workouts. Highly recommend :)

I've worked with oli at livestrong for just over six months. I started doing 1-1 pt then moved on to the small group pt which has been brilliant. I've meet new people to train with in an environment that doesn't make me feel self conscious. Oli has encouraged me and pushed me in equal measure to help me achieve my goals. I decided that at 50 I needed to do something to get fitter, it's the best decision I've made . Can not recommend this enough..

I had never lifted weights or consistently been to a gym before starting with Oli. The sessions are absolutely fantastic. I enjoy going (something I never thought I would say!) and I can feel myself getting stronger after only a few weeks. I would highly recommend.

I needed to improve my fitness and strength but had never been to the gym before, so I wanted a personal trainer to provide advice and guidance. Although it was a daunting prospect, Oli has been helpful and supportive throughout and I have found the benefit of a regular guided exercise plan. He introduced me to a variety of new equipment and techniques and provided dietary advice to help me make informed lifestyle changes. Although I don't look forward a workout, I always feel good after the session and would recommend Oli as a Personal Trainer.

I can’t recommend Oli enough! He makes every session fun, motivating, and tailored to your goals. He knows when to push you and when to encourage you, and I’ve honestly never felt stronger or more confident. If you’re looking for a trainer who actually makes you enjoy working out, he’s the one!

Absolutely brilliant small setup. Oli’s coaching is supportive and never judgemental, no matter of anyone’s ability. The gym is welcoming and community is great. A real confidence builder. I’d recommend Livestrong to anyone, experienced or not.

I first met Oli through a mutual friend, recommending him for Sports Massage. Oli asked if I was interested in gym work, I said yes but didn't do it, as I never felt confident in a gym environment. Oli understood and told me all about his Small PT groups and well he had me hooked instantly. Previously I lacked confidence in the gym and always felt intimated. Since joining LiveStrong I have gained so much confidence in a gym setting, as Oli has created a community which is super friendly and supportive of one another. Every session I go to we always have a laugh, Oli explains every exercise thoroughly, so I confidently know what I'm doing and everyone around motivates and encourages one another. I'm noticing a massive change since joining the Small PT Classes, not just physically but mentally too. My main goal of joining was to become stronger, so I could maintain my active lifestyle and not get injured as much. I'm definitely feeling stronger but I also feel as though I have a lot more energy. I have made a few subtle changes to what I eat daily and this has made a massive difference with my energy levels, and has helped me lose a small amount of weight.

I started working with Oli back in September 2024, with the goal of getting fitter and stronger to take on the Lakeland 50 in July 2025. I'm pleased to say that I completed it, and now proudly have my finishers medal! More importantly, Oli has made me fall in love with the gym, and training has now become a non negotiable in my life. He has created such a friendly, welcoming environment, and his approach to training is clear and easy to understand, as well as being fun!

I started with Oli to focus on my clean and toes to bar. He broke down technical movements in a way that clicked for me. When I didn’t get it, he’d explain it differently until I did. I love the workouts and the small group sessions, which help catch form mistakes before they lead to injury. I highly recommend training with Oli – he’s knowledgeable and keeps you engaged.

I enjoy the process of small group PT and training. Every session is different and challenging with weight, reps and controlled movement. I benefit from consistency and the tailored approach in weight training With Oli, coaching is progressive and he gives a real sense of accomplishment and achievement. We know that regular exercise leads to more balanced lives, better physical, mental and emotional health, greater energy levels, improved concentration and focus, optimised performance, less chronic disease and a healthy weight. If you know this but are struggling for motivation then small group PT is for you. LIVESTRONG is a friendly and non intimidating environment.

I started with LIVESTRONG because I wanted to train correctly in a small group environment. I no longer wanted a large ‘competitive environment’ or to risk being further injured. Having known Oli for a number of years, his expertise and coaching is second to none. He explains all workouts thoroughly and adapts movements to suit individuals if required, but also pushes you to that next limit in order to achieve your goals. The coaching and PT has helped me get back into fitness and boosted my confidence but also added the accountability factor into it with nutrition. This was especially important to me since giving birth. I was worried that I would be so unfit, but now 3 months postpartum and consistency I am already feeling much stronger and fitter. I have also been doing exercises that I’ve never done before. You also focus on yourself, not on what is going on around you and Oli always corrects you if necessary to ensure movements are being carried out properly. The small group PT sessions are a friendly environment, no egos and no stress! The app used to log the workouts is a great way of tracking your individual PB’s, and the videos and feedback regarding nutrition are really helpful to help you stay on track. I can honestly say it’s been the best move I’ve made and if you’re looking for somewhere to get fit and strong (without getting injured) in a personal, friendly environmental this is the place for you!

LiveStrong Coaching has a great supportive community and a welcoming atmosphere. Oli listens carefully to your training needs, your worries, struggles and hopes and carefully crafts sessions that support and challenge you to help you reach your goals. His inclusive approach and accsessible training plans enable all to get involved and get results. Before joining LiveStrong Coaching I felt very lost in my training, not sure how to get results and I had very little confidence. I was looking for something different, more personal and a safe and welcoming place to train. I really enjoy the small group PT sessions. It makes such a difference getting personal feedback whilst training and as a result of this I've found that I've achieved more than I thought, I've grown in confidence and I'm training in a safe way that's right for me and my body. But one of the best things is the people! No matter what session you book on you will find a group of people that are rooting for you, who you can have a good laugh with and who celebrate with you when you achieve something you didn't think you could.
