His communications were prompt and answered all of our questions. He helped us understand the architect/contractor/construction process as well. We are hoping to begin construction soon and can't wait to see it come to life!! Highly recommended.

Mike @Live by Design Architects did the architectural work for the rebuild of our lake house. We interviewed other architects, but we are very happy that we chose to work with Mike. Mike is a good listener, is readily accessible, and his work is creative, thorough, and well aligned with the budget. He also has a good network of builders and tradesmen that are good resources for making engineering and design decisions. We definitely recommend Mike.

Mr. Malloy is a God send. I reached out to him in the middle of our nightmare with our shady former contractor. He answered my call and listened to our dilemma. He immediately offered his professional advice. He offered his time to review the architectural plans and village requirements and pointed out everything that is wrong (out of the goodness of his heart). He directed us to the next steps we need to do, the right questions to ask the people we are planning to hire so we won't get taken advantage of again and solutions that we can take to overcome our problem. He also recommended reputable people who can help us. All the questions I asked were answered with tremendous and compassionate detail. He guided us when we were at our lowest (even though he didn't have to) and now our project is finished. Thank you so much again Mr. Malloy!!!!

Mike, was nothing short of amazing to work with for the design of our new lake home. We came to him with our list of must haves and wishes, and he created a beautiful and efficient house plan and really maximized the square footage for us. He thought of and recommended so many details that we otherwise wouldn't have thought about. (I'm thrilled about the extra storage spaces!) He was EXTREMELY patient with me as I am very particular. He's such a great guy all around and very trustworthy. We came to him late in the game, and added a Mother in Law suite on to the home as well. He knocked it out of the park there too. Early on, we even looked at a possible lake home renovation, vs. knocking our existing home down for a new build, and again, he had fantastic design ideas and was extremely knowledgeable about the house remodel process. Thanks for everything, Mike! Can't wait for our house plans come life!
