Ok but not spectacular
Last week, we visited LFK and found it to be a nice beach day. We purchased the package that included a meal and 2x drinks. The facility is run down and not well-maintained, although the price and experience were nice. It was November and not June or August, so they may have been nearly finished for the season. There were few guests or staff there. I didn't see anywhere for scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, jet ski rental, massages, manicures, pedicures, or horseback riding as mentioned in their description. They did have sunbathing, but be careful with the beach chairs as many of them were rotten and/or torn. I would go back again, the swimming/beach area is nice, there's a man-made reef that protects the area from the sea. The rope swing was lackluster, the "zoo" was cool, but it only took about 10-15 minutes to complete the tour.

Cute tourist area much nicer than the international dock. Just more charm. Colorful shops people very nice. Get off the main drag we were really lucky to book with Tours by Locals We had Israel who gave us the grand tour. He knows where to go. I had no plans to buy tequila but man this place he brought us was just a little taste of paradise. Very small shop. They get small batch tequila Ended up with two bottles and they will not be shared. I had heard how good , good tequila is and they are right. We stopped by a place on the beach for my first mojito they used fresh mint so good. Israel took us to a local restaurant. I had the conch ceviche Devine the whole grilled grouper was the best fish I have ever eaten. I have used Tours by Locals all over Mexico and they are great. I had tried to book with Israel wife but she became very sick and she took the effort to set up with her husband. These people are great.

Beautiful area but needs to do some maintenance, even need to screw or hammer down a lot up nails that have worked up ..
Please scrub the slim off the yellow steps going into the small swim area. Very slippery because my feet flew out from under me and I fell all the way down. Bad bruising on my left leg.Warning to all going off the rope jump. The depth of water you jump in is only about 6-8'. Hubby jumped feet first and hit the bottom so fast it bent back his foot and a very bad sprain and it's still swollen. That area should be deeper .Food was ok.
Caged animals, bored humans
Like idiots we left our 5 star resort to “experience” little French key and could not have been more disappointed. Heart broke immediately for the lion and jaguar trapped in tiny cages— added nothing to experience except depression. Swimming area was very limited, took an ocean and turned it into a crowded kiddie pool. We couldn’t leave fast enough. On an island full of beautify and adventure, don’t waste time trapped here… and please, LFK, release these animals to a proper sanctuary.

Amazing resort
We’ve never visited Roatan before and with little knowledge of the island I took to ChatGPT to help me find something worth visiting. We had a day on the island visiting as part of our cruise itinerary. All I can say is that I’m thankful I followed the recommendation, we had an amazing day at LFK.The staff were amazing, really friendly and great with the kids. The resort was great, really feels like paradise when you’re laid on a lounger around the water. The use of the paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel gear kept us all busy. We all agreed after the cruise that this was one of the highlights, we’d definitely recommend a visit.

Little French Key Resort- great bang for the buck!
We followed the advice of Professor Melissa and we are so glad we did! Honduras isn't a great port nor does it feel safe. We booked directly with the resort since there are so many fake sites that are scams. She told us to make sure to find the Little French Key personnel with their blue shirts and identification. We did and she was correct, everyone was trying to tell us they were the ones that we needed to ride with. Took about 25 minutes to get to the where the ferry was to the resort. We paid at the time we arrived which was perfect since the weather was not so great that morning. We arrived and WOW we went through the rescue animal sanctuary and they gave us a short tour of where everything was locate. Extremely clean and all the facilities were amazing. Food that was included was fantastic!! You get 2 drinks, lunch, and all the paddle board, and canoe you want. The water was clear and so peace ful. Perfect place for children. Lots of places to hang out in the water under an umbrella. I would highly recommend it to families, friends, older folks like me, or whoever enjoys a great day! Had 2 small vendors and they were willing to work on price with us. They will take credit cards or cash.

Major Tourist Trap. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Little French Key was a major disappointment is every way. It's a tourist trap, meaning they will always get new customers because they have a strong social media presence. But once you actually get there, you realize that everything is fake. The island is overall cute, but the water looks like a man made swimming pool. The water was so dirty and merky, there was nothing to enjoy. The food they include in the package was horrible, you might as well bring your own or pay a la cart. There was very little engagement from the staff; they were just there. I wouldn't recommend this place. Rather, go find another island to enjoy the nicer beach. This place was a joke.

Fav Cruise Destination to Book Direct
This resort was my favorite from our cruise ports. We booked in advance directly through website and paid at resort. Price was very reasonable for what it included: Food, drinks (we didnt even finish our drink tickets) the experience and service. I purchased the VIP package which included transport to and from ship ( pay attention to email instructions) food/drinks, horseback riding, swim with pigs, wildlife sanctuary , massage, and vip area. You can tell they love their animals, its not just for tourism. Its also a large space which we were so lucky to enjoy on a not so busy day.

GREAT TIME AT LFK
LFK is the best excursion in Roatan! Lots to do on the island, but if you don't want to do anything except lay on the beach or lounge in one of the many chairs, you can do that too! There is a bar and food available for you to purchase food/drink if you choose to do so.. it's so beautiful.. we have gone there 3 times. The first time was in 2015!

Perfect slice of paradise
The highlight of our cruise, could not ask for a more perfect day! We had one of the best snorkeling experiences ever, swam with pigs and got closer encounters with the rescue animals, the grounds are like something out of a movie..... we even paddleboarded for the first timeLFK for the win! Never in my life have I imagined a place so beautiful. Words can't describe. You must experience for yourself. The staff is unbelieveable and attentive. You are safe and there is so much space you are not on top of other people. Put your dreams into reality at little french key!! Worth it if In Honduras! Make a day of it.

Paradise!
This place was absolutely amazing! I don’t know why it isn’t talked about more—Little French Key is truly a hidden gem. We booked directly through their website before arriving on our cruise aboard Wonder of the Seas. Transportation was seamless; they picked us up right at the Coxen Hole cruise port, drove us about 30 minutes to Little French Key, and made sure we got back with plenty of time to enjoy the cruise terminal before boarding again.From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, but the real magic is the island itself. Little French Key is pure paradise—crystal clear water, pristine sandy beaches, and breathtaking views in every direction. Honestly, it’s one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life.The food and drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the place never felt crowded at all. (It helped that our ship was the only one in port that day, but there’s plenty of space regardless.) I’ve been to many destinations with gorgeous water, but I have never seen water so clear and perfect as here.Our only regret was how short our time was—we had just about three hours to enjoy Little French Key, and I could have easily spent days there. It ended up being our favorite port of the entire cruise, far exceeding our expectations.I truly hope to return one day. For anyone traveling to Roatán, I cannot recommend this paradise highly enough!

Beautiful water, fantastic service, and great food and drinks
Little French key is a true gem. It is a hidden oasis on Roaton. Secluded, not overcrowded, beautiful water with views of the mountains in the background. The food and drinks were good and the service was phenomenal. The staff when above and behind to ensure we had a wonderful time
