I’ve been using Lipsey to prepare my federal and state income tax returns for the past four years, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. The entire team is highly professional, knowledgeable, and clearly knows what they’re doing. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my returns will be prepared accurately and on time every year. Their customer portal is also excellent. It makes it easy to upload documents, communicate with the tax preparer, and review draft returns in a secure and organized way. The process is smooth and very convenient. A special thank-you to Jess Benson, the Client Services Coordinator. Jess is absolutely top-notch—she keeps me informed about the status of my return, responds quickly to questions, and is always pleasant and professional to work with. Her communication and attention to detail really make the experience even better. The accountants and tax preparers at Lipsey are equally outstanding—very knowledgeable and consistently thorough. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional firm to handle your taxes, I highly recommend Lipsey.

Updated Review: I want to clarify that I was never an actual client, so this review is not based on their services. The company came moderately recommended, and while I did reach out, I found them to be highly unresponsive. This may have been due to the busy tax season, so in fairness, I’ve increased my rating by one star. When we did communicate, they were friendly and helpful, which I appreciate. This firm may be a great fit for others, but based on the lack of consistent communication I personally experienced, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending them at this time.

I had a great experience with Lipsey and Associates this year. They have been doing my business taxes (LLC, file as a C corp) and personal taxes since 2018. This year I had a particularly complicated personal tax situation with donating/recycling a house as part of a home reconstruction. They did an outstanding job with it and did it without extensions!
