The classes are reasonably priced, the school is conveniently located in the city center, and the staff and teachers are lovely. I also appreciate that the handbook is included. The team at Lingo is very accommodating and kind, and we had a great time in our classes with Frau Elena 🙂
This is a public service announcement on the cancellation policy- “Lessons must be rescheduled and agreed with the trainer at least 24 hours in advance.Otherwise, the lesson will be considered used. Same-day cancellations are not allowed for any reason.”If this rigid policy is not up your alley for eg you have low immune system and fall sick in the same day and can’t attend class - look elsewhere.
Update : they didn’t inform me 24 hours in advance class was NOT happening so clearly double standards for themselves and students; and refund takes more than a month with repeated chasing and no response.

I attended the French A1.1 course with no prior background in the language. The small class size made a big difference, as our teacher Emmanuel actively encouraged us to practise what we learned, which helped us pick up the language much faster compared to larger classes. He is patient, explains concepts clearly, and creates a supportive learning environment. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to learn a new language! :)
Teacher Bryan is very engaging and makes the class lively and interesting. He knows many languages, and has the ability to use others to conduct the class in an easy to understand manner. Though a short period of time, he has been able to generate the strong interest in the class.

Kru Nat is a very experienced teacher. Not someone who simply knows the Thai language because it is her native language. She knows how to teach. So it is no surprise to learn that she had previously worked as a public school teacher in Thailand. She lives in Singapore now and understands the Singaporean culture. Very pleased to learn the Thai language and culture from her. You get the best of both worlds!
Have been attending Thai language class with Teacher Nat for more than a year. She has made learning a joy. She is patient and tries different methods to aid in making it easier to learn the language.
Additionally, she is also very willing to share about the different aspects of the Thai language not in syllabus (i.e. origins of words, how it relates to Thai culture, current affairs, etc) and relates the examples to local context for better understanding.
