My cousin, best friend, and I booked several tours while in Croatia and surrounding areas. The experience would not have been the same or possible without thus outfit. It was personalized, efficient, and knowledgeable and therefore worth every penny. I chose to write this review now because I forgot when I got back to the states last summer and because I have traveled again this summer and no other outfit compares. Would absolutely use again!

We just spent 9 wonderful days in Croatia with Aleks and his team. Honestly I don't know that there is a single thing that they didn't think of which made our trip one of the best we have ever taken! Months before we left we consulted with Aleks on how we wanted to structure things. He provided very good feedback and suggestions that all worked out perfectly. The hotels we stayed in were top notch. The restaurants we ate at were all very good. A couple of meals were even spent at farm to table homes/farms in remote locations...very unique and fun! We took boat trips to coves and small island towns in the Adriatic a couple days during our trip, and those were really fun too. The guides chosen for our tours were all very knowledgeable and flexible as we asked questions. Aleks had suggestions for stops during our long car rides that were great, and he seemed to have a way of highlighting the best of Croatia with the activities and stops we made along the way which included Zagreb, Split, Hvar, Korcula and Dubrovnik. More than anything else though is the attention to detail and proactive listening that sets Aleks and BLKN escapes apart. The pre-travel information provided is the best I have seen...summaries for each day's travel, predicted weather forecast and related clothing options, tip guidelines, regional food information made our packing and preparation for travel easy...really well done! During our drives Aleks listened and provided input, answering questions and pointing us in the right direction so we maximized our vacation. The van used for our transportation was a luxury Mercedes van. It was very comfortable even during some of our longer drives. Communication was very good. We never felt like we were alone. Aleks provided a preview of the day's events via WhatsApp and stayed in touch as we toured with local guides and enjoyed time exploring on our own. Quite frankly, he just made our trip very easy so we could enjoy it instead of fretting. If you are going to Croatia or anywhere else BLKN escapes goes, I think this is the best possible option for a tour company!!
