Worth every penny! We used Emma & John's services to resolve some "sticky issues" in our planned layout for a home renovation that did not involve building any extension, but some relatively modest reconfiguration of an existing 1950s bungalow. I was not sure if we were the "right" type of customer for this service, but I am so glad I was mistaken! Emma & John did an incredible job laying out our entire home and helping us resolve some configuration issues. We changed 12 design elements just from our time at Lifesize Plans Ireland! These are things I know I wouldn't have spotted just from drawings but will make a huge difference to the quality of our design.
We were very lucky that our architect, builder AND kitchen designer all wanted to attend the walkthrough with us, so the conversations were extremely rich and John & Emma did a wonderful job of capturing everybody's feedback and sending it to me within a few hours of our visit.

We had such a great session with Emma & John at Lifesize Plans. It was incredible to see our 2D plans come to life! My partner and I made changes to our plans that day and if we hadn't of done this session we would never have thought to change them until building the house. Emma & John were so helpful, they walked us through every inch of the house and made suggestions on things that we hadn't noticed. We had an invaluable planning session with John and Emma that really helped us bring our ideas to life. Having the ability to see your plans physically right in front of you and get a true sense of scale is extremely useful. We only had broad ideas of what we would like to do for our renovation, and the session allowed us to visual their potential impact and also adjust them in real time. Both John and Emma are so helpful and knowledgeable. It makes the whole session very conducive to discussing ideas and concepts. Our overall experience was extremely positive and definitely worth its value. I would recommend this for anyone considering renovating their house as it really provides a platform to create a firm design plan.

The little touches — like offering us a coffee while we walked through, and being so understanding when we needed to bring our baby along — made such a difference. They’re full of great advice without ever being pushy, and they genuinely listen to your thoughts and concerns.

Cannot express enough how great the entire experience with Lifesize plans was - 100% recommend to anyone on a renovation or home build journey. I am planning a relatively small new build onto older cottage, so making the most of every space is key, and my experience today at Lifesize has really enhanced and improved my plans to the next level.
John & Emma have such an impressive set up, and were so helpful on the walk through of the house, bringing their experience and suggestions on tweaks to make the space adjust to your needs. They asked the right questions to challenge me to think of how I will use the space, and the adjustments have made the house so much more functional.
While I was really happy with my plans on paper, when I was in the kitchen / living / utility space it just did not work and flow, so I’m sure today’s appointments has saved me thousands in the long run as if I had proceeded with original plans it would have needed reworking in the future and a lot of space was being wasted in the wrong places. It has also given me really clear direction on placement for everything in kitchen, so will make decisions for kitchen build / trades / lighting so much easier.

From start to finish the process with Emma & John was seamless! We didn’t know what to expect, but the reality was far better than we had imagined. Emma & John are a fountain of knowledge, super friendly and so patient! We would 100% this service to anyone who is doing a self build and wants to visualise and physically see the structure before even laying a block! We made some great changes that I’m sure will benefit us in the long run. It is definitely worth the money. They also had all of our changes and notes emailed back to us the same day which was great too!
Lifesize Plans Ireland brought everything to life for our future home. John and Emma shared fantastic ideas, gave us so much time, and were incredibly patient throughout the process. They made us genuinely excited for what’s ahead. Worth every cent — we’ll be recommending this service to anyone building in the future.
Having sent our designs last Friday was dubious but intrigued before calling over to Lifesize Plans today. After 2 hours with Emma and John this morning I have no doubts that this will be the most important time we will spend on our building project over the next 2 years.
Anybody building a new house or doing a large renovation should pencil in a visit with this company before making a planning application.
Hard to explain how beneficial we found the process and our builder (who was with us) thinks it will save a lot of time and money when it comes to construction. Being able to stand in the actual rooms was a game changer. We made a number of alterations to the designs and the changes were sent to our architect this afternoon by Lifesize.

Fantastic experience with Emma and John in lifesize plans.
We went pre planning to see what changes we would make to our build. It was such a helpful and worthwhile experience. We were able to walk through our build and move furniture and walls etc to see how it would best suit us and the design.
Emma and John guided us through the whole process and were really knowledgeable and insightful throughout. We were able to discuss all the possibilities of our design and we had plenty of time to explore these options.
If anyone struggles to visualise plans or room layout this process is invaluable.
Highly recommend for anyone at any stage of building or planning, it was such good value for money and we received detailed changes and notes that we made throughout the day.
We had an excellent experience during our life-size planning session with John and Emma. It has been the most beneficial experience of our self build journey. It has been so worthwhile for us as it gave us the chance to have a real feel for what our house will be like. We had doubts about the layout and size of our utility/WC/hot press but with John and Emma’s patience and expertise we got to an end result we are delighted with. We got the opportunity to see what would and wouldn’t work and make decisions on the spot to help us save time and money for when we start our build. Highly recommend!!
