have been a client of poole lifebalance for over 2 yrs ,when i first started i had chronic back pain ,very painful when i walked and massive spasms i my legs and back cant praise the staff and drs at this practice, they have treated me with patience and helped me over some really bad times have noe reched a stage where my spasms have gone and my quality of life is much better it has been a long journy and they have been there for me every time i went through a bad patch,cant praise the skill of drs josh and Harrison they truly have amazing skill and i have no hesitation in recommending them if you suffer from any back pain or mobility problem then come and see them i trust them 10% and can speak from experience,am now starting to have massage to go with the stage i have reached and highly recommend this it has definately helped with the aches and pain in my muscles that i had jo has been so supportive of my treatment and has lowered my aches and pains i had all in all cant thank all of them front staff ,drs and masseuse staff for all there help seems like one big family and cant reccomend them enough

Very nice people and I'm sure a lot of patients have benefitted but I would rather have had a succinct clinical consultation rather than going over the same thing as far as what I hoped would be the result, a sort of quiz having to guess which x-ray was the one showing the same level of degeneration as mine but none of which were my actual x-ray, I finally got to see mine after spending time umming and ahhing about which one was actually mine and then having to ask, to be told none of them was) didn't understand the point of that. Also the claim that spinal manipulation lowers Cortisol levels has no credible research to back it up. Having to pay a massive amount up front is something I've never had to do and wouldn't expect to. I've always paid per appointment when I've had treatment in the past, so when I said I'd have to go away and think about it I was asked what it was I needed to think about and felt tad pressurised. I notice a lot of elderly patients in the waiting room and I hope they aren't spending money they can't afford. There are places who won't expect a huge up front payment with perfectly competent practitioners.

I can highly recommend Dr Olivia. She explains everything and never rushes, my daughter has severe anxiety, yet Dr Olivia has been simply marvellous with her. Amazing friendly place. If your unsure give it a go. Nothing to lose, lots to gain. My hip pain had disappeared after the first treatment. I'm walking longer, my quality of life has vastly improved.The whole team are so friendly. The reception team always happy and greet with a smile. The posture assessment are so easy and not invasive. I originally came to Life Balance to help with a dodgy knee that was causing me to limp and wasn't healing. 4 months on and not only am I no longer limping, but im ready to start running again, my migraines and headaches have become less frequent, I'm having fewer digestive issues and my mood has improved. Been going to the clinic for over a year now and truth be told-they are a Godsend. They don't just adjust the body. They look at the wholesome pocture of the whole entire mind and body amd specifically nervous system and how it is involved in all our daily lives and life processes. Could not recommend it enough! It takes more than words to describe how welcoming and friendly yet highly professional the team are at Life Balance. I almost gave up trying getting by day by day ,the pain and limitations to what I can do was making me feel depressed. I trusted Dr Hope to work with my 4 month old baby - and I’m so glad we did. My son was showing signs of a head lean to the side and was reluctant to move his head in the other direction. After a friendly first meet and thorough consultation, Dr Hope explained what treatment would be appropriate for our baby and then we went ahead. Our son enjoyed every session and was very relaxed throughout. We’re really pleased with the results of his treatment. He moves more freely and his head and neck are straightened with more head leaning. I would recommend life balance to any parents out there who have concerns about their baby’s physical development, you’ll be in very safe and knowledgable hands!

I found Life Balance Chiropractic after searching online and reading the excellent reviews. I had an acute episode of a chronic back problem and with a trip to London and a Holiday looming, I needed some help quickly. It was also affecting my work as a community nurse. From the moment I arrived for my initial assessments by Dr Olivia Martin, I felt my concerns were really listened to. She explained the findings from the X-ray and how she could treat me and with my agreement set up a plan of care. She also pointed out many problems that I had put down to “getting older” or “the menopause” could be caused by nerve compression. She was very honest and realistic about my goals and what she could help me achieve. Initially I visited 3 times a week initially and have improved so much over my course of treatment that I only visit weekly now. I was able to walk 16 000 steps in a day around London, whereas prior to my treatment I could barely walk around my own home. Now, almost 3 months on, I feel I stand taller, have more movement throughout my spine, my body has more stamina and feels stronger. I can do more of the activities that I love, including walking and sitting for longer periods playing the piano. Life Balance has been a place where I feel welcomed, valued and immensely supported. All the staff are so kind and helpful and the clinic itself has a very calming atmosphere. However, my biggest thanks goes to Dr Olivia, who manages to ease my stress and tension with simply laying her hands on my back. She explains all my adjustments to me, is incredibly knowledgeable and simply just a wonderful human being. Thank you From an eternally grateful nearly 60 year old nurse with a new lease of life!!

I discovered Life Balance Chiropractic whilst searching online for solutions and help for the problems I had been experiencing. Before starting chiropractic care I was experiencing constant back and neck pain and frequent harsh migraines. Even after a few sessions, I noticed a huge improvement. I am no longer in constant back pain and discomfort and my migraines are gone. There were even changes and improvements to things such as quality of sleep,balance and my general mood that I hadn’t even noticed were effecting me until they eased with my continued treatment.
