Wow.. just WOW! Jessie is one-of-a-kind. I cannot begin to express our deep gratitude for Jessie and Let's Train Your Dog. We adopted a special little chihuahua, Nacho, who lived a tough life before us. And with that tough past, comes some tough behaviors we are trying to work through. Every dog trainer I contacted immediately mentioned shock collars, and that is the absolute last thing a little dog like Nacho needs. He needs calm, reassurance and confidence building. And that is EXACTLY what Jessie and Let's Train Your Dog provides. They do not use scare tactics, prong collars, or any forceful method. That is what I love so much about them. Jessie sent us pictures, videos, and very detailed updates every day that Nacho was with her. We were able to see her methods of training, which we have gone to look back on multiple times since his return home. Jessie even brings your dog back to YOUR house at the end, reviews all of the commands with you, and helps to put a new structure in place. Nacho still has a long way to go for several of his quirks, but we feel like we have more tools in our toolbox now to handle those quirks. We have texted Jessie multiple times after Nacho's stay to ask questions and get advice. She is quick to respond with detailed notes and recommendations. At the end of the day, most of the time, we (the owners) are causing or exasperating many of the "bad" behaviors a dog is exhibiting. I knew this before Nacho's training. However, I didn't know how to change my behaviors in a way that works for Nacho. I now understand how to make adjustments to my behavior that best suit Nacho's anxieties. I truly cannot recommend Let's Train Your Dog and Jessie enough. This is not my first rescue dog with issues, and will not be my last. I will continue to come to LTYD for future training needs. When you’re at the end of your rope with your pet, call the expert. Jess came to our rescue, taught our dog (and us!), and gave us hope again that our pup could be trained and controlled. And she does it in her house, not in some impersonal overcrowded kennel. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Let’s Train Your Dog! They were the only trainer that I could find that doesn’t use e-collars, and that was really important to me. My puppy, Zelda, went there for 2 weeks. Her puppy nipping was out of control, bordering on aggression when she was frustrated. I was concerned that she was going to grow up to be a problem. Jessie worked with her and she made so much progress! She sent so many videos and updates during Zelda’s time there and went over everything when we picked her up. Of course, it takes more than two weeks to train a dog, it is an ongoing process, but Jessie laid out a very clear plan going forward and I am confident that as we are consistent, Zelda will grow into a happy, healthy and obedient dog. I can’t recommend Let’s Train Your Dog enough! Jesse is amazing — she took wonderful care of our 10-month-old high-energy pup and sent daily updates that kept us in the loop. With two toddlers and full-time jobs, we didn’t have the time or structure for training, and our dog had become pretty destructive. Jesse completely turned things around! She has helped us better understand how our dog thinks, and of course, how to communicate with her to maintain the wonderful progress she's made. Our dog is happier, calmer, and so are we! If you’re on the fence, just do it. It’s truly life-changing for both the dog and family! Thank you Jesse! ❤️

My 4-month-old Goldendoodle, Emmie, absolutely loved Jessie! She’s so friendly, patient and kind — you can tell she really cares about the dogs (and owners) she works with. Jessie made training fun and positive for both of us, and Emmie learned so much! Jessie sent videos to me every day. With each new days videos, I could not believe the progress Emmie was making! Training with Jessie was absolutely worth it. Knowing that she is there for any follow up questions or concerns means so much! I can’t recommend Jessie enough, she is the best!

Always Awesome My golden retriever went to stay with Jessie for training 2 years ago. Menolly (the dog) needed some additional help getting ready for an upcoming assessment, and Jessie is just as brilliant now as she was then. Jessie is patient with Menolly and with me while we learn to work together; she has lots of ideas to teach Menolly to think and behave so she can pass her assessment. Menolly has been an amazing family dog for two years, thanks to Jessie. She is going to be awesome in her next adventure, again thanks to Jessie.

Jessie was incredible with our rescue puppy, Otis. Otis is 5 months old and we work during the day so we needed help with crate and potty training. Jessie was exceptional with Otis. She was able to not only work on his crate schedule and potty training, but she was able to work with Otis on basic commands as well. Jessie also sent us daily videos of his progress so that we could see his progress, and then reinforce those behaviors/training when he returned home to us. Jessie was exceptional with communication and keeping us informed. If you have a dog that needs any sort of training, I highly recommend Jessie and Let's Train Your Dog!

I sent my 11-week-old puppy to Let’s Train Your Dog for the two-week training/boarding program and it was amazing! He came home on a schedule, going potty outside, and with great new skills. The home environment with just a few dogs was loving but structured, and Jessie’s daily updates and videos made it easy to keep learning at home. Rates were very reasonable compared to competitors, and my puppy adjusted right back into our routine using everything he learned. Couldn’t recommend them more! 🐾

We had such a positive experience with Let’s Train Your Dog! Before we brought our puppy to them I felt overwhelmed as a first time dog owner. We did the two week board and train with our 12 week old Cavalier pup. Jessie is incredibly helpful and keeps you updated daily on the progress that your dog is making. The schedule and crate training that they implement with your pup is a life saver. It makes having a puppy so much more manageable. She’s doing great with the potty training since she got home. Jessie gave us so many tools and knowledge for how to keep training our puppy into a very pleasant family dog. Jessie is great at answering any questions that we have had and I love knowing that I can reach out anytime we have more. The money that we invested into this training was worth every penny!

Jessie trained our toy poodle and I can’t believe the difference it was when she brought our dog home to us at the end of the week. She kept in constant contact with us daily by sending us videos of each days progress, and spent time with us when she brought him home to us to make sure we understood anything that we were unsure of. Two things: I would definitely use her again at any cost; and I recommend her to anyone who is interested in training their dog. Well worth the time and money. Aloha to all.

We took our new puppy, Franklin, and our 2 year old dog, Maggie, to the one week training together and we are so glad we did! Our new puppy had really bad separation anxiety and crate training was a nightmare for us! He now sleeps all night in his crate without a whine and is potty trained. Our other dog had bad separation anxiety as well and now she is able to be left alone during the day while we go to work, which we never could do before! They came back to us with great manners and are working on not jumping up on people when they get home. Maggie now can go on walks without pulling on the leash the whole time. It’s amazing how much they learned in one short week! We were updated on their progress throughout the whole week which made it so much easier on us. We recommend this training to everyone now!

We took our 3 month old bernedoodle puppy to Jessie and it was the best decision ever! Before training camp, Luca would freak out in his crate and could not be alone. He would cry anytime he was alone or in his crate. Once we got him back, he never cries, loves his crate, and the schedule Jessie put us on has made potty training, walking, and his sleep so much better!! Jessie and Cindy are AWESOME! We took our four month old little guy to them because we thought he was too far gone by not being potty trained already by four months. Jessie was so great with him. When we brought him home, he was like a new dog, especially when in the crate. Now he will hop into it on his own and we don’t hear a peep out of him. He has still pottied in the house a few times since coming home, but it was our fault for not watching him. We will definitely be sending him back to “boarding school” with Jessie when he is six months so he can just sharpen his skills! So far, Jessie has taught him sit, stay, come, wait, down, leave it, and he is pretty good at all of them except “stay.” I’m excited to keep working with him and see just how smart the little guy can be. Also, Jessie sent so many pictures and videos - it was amazing and I just knew our little guy was well taken care of while we were there! Definitely recommend!

We did a two week board and train. Absolutely worth the money! First of all, we felt comfortable leaving our one year old lab with Jessie. The yard and house areas were very clean and we loved that a lot of the training was in a home environment. Because of Jessie’s training, our lab doesn’t jump on us or others. Our dog that was pulling terribly on a walk now will stay by me during the walk. She goes to “place” and “breaks”. We are still working on “leave it” after a fetch. But… our lab is so much better about bringing a stick or ball right back to us. It is truly amazing what Jessie did with our dog, Daisy. In two weeks! She also went the extra mile by giving us video clips on a daily basis which we still refer to for help and reminders. Thank you Jessie! You are the best at what you do! Highly recommend.

We did the one-week puppy training to help our little Alfie with crate training, potty training, and separation anxiety. He is so much better with his crate now, and has only had one accident in the house in the last 3 weeks. That was great to see! He still has some work to do with separation anxiety though- but a week of training may be a little hard to completely resolve that, he has definitely made progress. Jessie has been super helpful in the post-boarding process as she always responds to our questions over the phone in a timely manner and gives us answers we need as we navigate this puppy training process.
