Le Pianore is a breathtaking sanctuary nestled in the pristine foothills of Monte Amiata in the Tuscany Maremma region -- a true slice of paradise. It proved to be the ideal setting for our ‘Step into the Sun’ yoga retreat leading up to the Summer Solstice. The natural beauty of the landscape inspired deep relaxation and self-discovery. From the nourishing, farm-to-table Tuscan meals made with seasonal garden produce to the range of extracurricular activities available, such as pasta-making, soap-making and conscious dance and wine tasting, Le Pianore offered everything needed to support a rich and memorable retreat experience. The spacious, light-filled yoga studio, complete with stunning mountain views and all the amenities needed for mindful practice, was truly exceptional. Our host Enrica Micillo and her family, the gracious proprietors of Le Pianore, and the friendly staff brought thoughtful attention to every possible detail. We made so many wonderful connections and memories to last a lifetime. As a tour operator, working with Enrica over the course of 20 months to facilitate yoga retreat logistics on behalf of the One Down Dog yoga studio, I found her to be a great communicator who promptly responds to any and all concerns and questions --especially helpful when planning a retreat in another country. E' stato un vero piacere avervi quì e conoscervi! Il gruppo è stato fantastico, frizzante e simpatico. E' stato divertente condividere tante esperienze insieme.
Lavorare con Vicky è stato fluido e semplice. La comunicazione è stata ottima e l'organizzazione eccellente. Monto attenta ad ogni dettaglio, si è premurata di organizzare un ritiro pieno di esperienze ed attività. Dopo essersi informata su tutte le opzioni, ha messo insieme un pacchetto completo per una perfetta esperienza toscana.

What a beautiful location! We loved staying at Le Pianore! Enrica was a wonderful and gracious host. Our tiny cabin was a lovely space that was comfortable with beautiful light. We highly recommend staying here.

I did not want to leave! What an absolute delight to stay at Le Pianore and feel so taken care of. The family who owns this place is straight out of a romantic movie and you can't help but love them and want to be a part of their family (which they also help make you feel like you are)!
