Fabulous beer and food here! We had a group of 7 and seating was no problem. They even have a nice patio for this lovely fall weather. Highlights were the pho-mi dip and the wings.

Thanks for your visit. We're excited to provide a top-notch experience next.
The West Coast IPA was amazing. I went in for 1 quick one but it was so good I had 2. Unfortunately, I was unable to purchase the beer to go. The bartender mentioned the ones they had available for sale to go and it was only what was available at Harris Teeter. And I really don't like those. Anyway, it's a small thing. But a bigger thing was the service. I usually tip per pour and each time I tipped around 100% usually that gets me good service. In this case it didn't. There were 2 bartenders 1 male and 1 female and I couldn't buy good service. There were 2 (it was mid afternoon) other customers at the bar and they experienced the same service. I watched how long each person waited to order their first beer. I was amazed that it took as long as it did. It was very sad. For such a great place w a great beer selection and great food it was awful to have such poor service. I noticed that the bartenders were talking to wait staff...they were not filling orders for the tables they were just talking Not to customers but to other employees=ouch. It was very sad and ruined what could have been an enjoyable afternoon beer. Just for an example of wait times...i had nothing else to do so I sat and clocked 15 minutes from the time my glass was emptied to the time somebody asked if I needed anything. During that 15 minutes a bartender walked by a few times and said nothing, so I got up and left. Again it was not very busy and i think a 3rd bartender showed up. Oh well. Im still on the hunt for a great afternoon beer...

We're thrilled to receive your top rating. Hope to impress you again.
The wings were very good but the cubana sandwhich special, was extremely dry. The meat pork was fried to death. Also the side of chaperones were literally like eating packing peanuts. They came with my wife’s meal

We had a fantastic Friday evening at Legion Brewing South Park with my wife, celebrating the end of the week and enjoying some well-deserved time to relax.
We started with a couple of drinks—an Aperol Spritz and a cider—and enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and meatloaf for dinner. Everything was delicious and well prepared, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks.
The atmosphere was lively, fun, and welcoming, with a great Friday evening vibe. The common areas were clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy our time there. The service was fantastic as well—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better.
Another big plus is the central and convenient South Park location. Parking was very easy thanks to the comfortable parking garage with plenty of available spaces. We also appreciated having free EV charging stations available, which is a great convenience and a thoughtful extra touch.
Overall, Legion Brewing South Park was a great choice for a Friday night out. Good food, enjoyable drinks, a fun atmosphere, excellent service, and convenient parking made for a really enjoyable evening. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

I'm in town for the WVU/UVA game and the place was recommended through a friend, I am happy to say everything was perfect! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating! Taylor did an excellent job waitressing at our table. And the food was amazing! I had the smash burger and my wife had the shrimp.
I will certainly visit again the next time I am in the area!

Your 5 stars just made our day brighter! Looking forward to seeing you again.
From the street to the seat, this place delivers. Parking is a bit cumbersome but available on the street or in garages, and the neighborhood is beautiful and safe to walk to Legion. Legion has amazing wood and brick architecture, giving the interior a great vibe. We sampled the vast beer menu, and were not disappointed with any of the choices. We did eat any of the entrees, but the pretzel beer roll appetizers was fantastic. This place delivers a quality experience, highly recommend.

Try the Wagyu Cheesesteak, it is amazing! I'm from Philly. The Wagyu beef was a fancy touch, but it was delicious. The Cooper Cheese and Liscios roll were legit. All together it was amazing. You need this.

Came to Legion for a few beers and lunch. We ordered the wagyu noodle bowl and the quesadilla - both very very good and well-seasoned. The beers were good; I tried the new session IPA and loved it!!! Our waiter Nate provided great recs and has such a warm personality
