DO NOT RECOMMEND! Justin came to my house for an emergency electrical issue. 9 hours later in the dead of winter got me temporary power after talking my ear off for hours. Then proceeded to scam me and try to get me to sign for an outrageous amount of money for a permanent fix. Got many quotes after and they were all THOUSANDS of dollars cheaper. Don’t let Justin scam you! Be careful out there people.

They are nice over the phone but, don't hesitate at all to overcharge their customers for simple work. Look at all the other similar reviews to mine. I honestly think that those not complaining about the price were swindled with a bunch of fancy verbiage to thoroughly confuse the innocent much like a scammer. They don't ask for much information when you call to schedule because that's part of the gimmick. When they come to check out what you have going on it will already cost you $79 no matter what. Then Matt hit me with all the estimates. In my case a brand new AC condenser and coil installed by my husband to the point it just needed a vacuum test, lines cracked open, and refrigerant topped off by 5 ounces was going to cost $1400 at a minimum. It got worse from there, for over $2k they added in the pressure test and for a whopping $4k they were wanting to redo the line-set connections with braze rather than stay brite 8 we used and wire in the leak detector (which we already had the dragonfly control box for). My husband decided to just buy the remaining equipment needed (less than $200 through FB) and finish the job himself. No leaks for both vacuum and pressure tests just as the lines were and the AC is up and running great with no changes made at all to anything. Now I know why he always insist to do everything himself. The one time I think I can take some load off his plate we are met with absolute ridiculousness. Do yourselves a HUGE favor and use another company or do it yourself.

When it comes to HVAC systems—especially refrigerant-bearing equipment like air conditioners—there are very strict safety, performance, and code requirements we must follow. In your specific case, we encountered an installation that was performed without a mechanical permit and utilized soft solder (Stay Brite 8) on both the suction and liquid lines. While soft soldering may hold in certain conditions, it is not the industry standard for pressurized HVAC systems and may not withstand the long-term thermal and pressure stresses that brazed connections are built to handle.

Our technician provided a range of solutions not only to "gas up" the system but also to ensure it was safe, leak-free, code-compliant, and legally permitted. It's important to note that once we touch a system, we assume liability for its operation. That’s why our quotes reflected not just material costs, but the labor, licensing, permitting, and professional responsibility that come with doing the job the right way.

The $79 diagnostic fee is always disclosed upfront, and it's designed to allow our technicians to properly evaluate the system and offer clear, transparent options. We’re proud to say that a portion of this fee is also donated to a charity each month! The charity that is being donated to is listed on our Facebook page.

We completely understand and respect your decision to finish the project yourselves. That said, our quotes reflected the true cost of a licensed, insured, and permitted HVAC company stepping in to stand behind the work—something most homeowners expect when seeking peace of mind for their home.

First time customer. About 2:40 in the afternoon on Friday June 13 noticed we had no heat and weather was rainy and chilly. We were given the option to for a technician to come out as soon as possible, or on the weekend or wait to Monday. We choose as soon as possible. Matt thoroughly check our furnace/AC unit. Along with a blown fuse Matt found additional problems with the wiring and fixed / replaced what was needed. Heat and AC unit both worked. I highly recommend. I chose LeBrun based on their reviews and some FB recommendations, and I'm glad I did. They will always be my "go to" from now on. They do a great job letting you know who will be coming out to help with your project and some background information about them. Riley was great. He gave me an ample heads-up when he was heading my way. My electrical issues turned out to be one with my RV and not my outlet as originally thought. A bit outside the scope of the plan, but Riley was persistent. He was determined to help me out, and got on the horn a few times to consult with a few other LeBrun colleagues with a bit more RV-specific backgrounds. That determination, coupled with his expertise, got the job done. Couldn't have been happier with the work.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Lebrun Electric Heating and Cooling! Our air conditioner stopped working and our kids were so hot and miserable. They responded quickly, arrived on time, and got everything up and running faster than we expected. The technician Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly.
