There’s a lot to like: pastries are skillfully made and flavorful, the space is lovey. Coffee is solid and the breads are really solid. Great addition to the neighborhood and I’m rooting for them to continue succeeding
To do so, improving the speed and gracefulness of service feels like the place to focus. As an early bird, it frustrates me that opens are often late and few unprepared. A 15m turn around on the first coffee orders of the day doesn’t few awesome. Finding more warmth and efficiency from staff to match the food and setting would make this a real gem in Berkeley.

This little cafe is a whole vibe. Their lavender-infused menu is creative and delicious—I tried the lavender honey latte and it was smooth and fragrant. The croissant was buttery and fresh. The interior is charming, filled with natural light. I genuinely didn’t want to leave. It’s now my go-to place for a peaceful treat.
