I am still fuming after my visit to Laung Laachi Indian Restaurant. They claim to serve Indian cuisine, but I'd say they're more like impostors. The food was an insult to the rich and diverse culinary heritage of India. Overcooked, oily, and lacking any semblance of authenticity. It's like they took all the worst bits of Indian cuisine and mashed them together into a sad, sorry excuse for a meal. The service didn't fare much better. If you value your taste buds and your health, stay far, far away from this place. Indian food deserves better. This place does not.
Laung Laachi is my favourite Indian restaurant, their food is always excellent and served in a timely manner. The safe are kind and it's always a nice experience eating here. I have brought my partner and family along several times and they have loved it each time.
Our favourite dishes are the Gobi 65, Palak Paneer and Daal Mahkani.
