I have purchased multiple items from La Pelle and everything is such a high quality. Leathers are luscious and their exotic skins are incredible. Staff are there to assist, create a bespoke experience and know exactly what is going to look good on you and are great at simply looking at you and knowing what size will work. All this and the prices are very fair. I look forward to visiting every time I’m in Florence.

We were just wandering around on our first day in Firenze and my daughter saw a unique hand painted leather jacket in the window. We walked in and the two ladies were so accommodating and helpful, we ended up walking out with the jacket for my daughter and another beautiful jacket for my wife. For the quality of the jackets the prices were very reasonable. But also the ladies were not pushy, were so kind and just lovely. We would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a special memory from Firenze to take home and wear forever.

Great experience and patience from the owners of this amazing family owned business in Florence. Did a ton of research and this spot came up a few times and man am I glad I purchased my first leather jacket here (and potentially my second later this week lol). A lot of the spots around town and even in Rome offering 50% discounts should scare you… go to La Pelle for the best experience and amazing quality leather jackets that you deserve this holiday! Can’t wait to come back!💪🏼

The owners here are so incredibly kind! We visited in September on our honeymoon and they helped my husband and I find two beautiful brown jackets and a stunning white leather trench coat. They were also very patient with us, offering different styles for us to try and helping us choose the best fit. They are such a pleasure to talk to, really wonderful people and the coats we purchased are so well crafted and unique — the style, quality and service are unmatched at La Pelle. If you're looking for leather in Florence, this is by far the best place. Thank you very much again, we wear our jackets all the time and look forward to visiting again our next time in Florence 💗

Wonderful experience purchasing a new black leather jacket from La Pelle! All three sales associates were very welcoming and helpful which I greatly appreciated after being insulted and pressured at two other Florence leather stores. I explained what I was looking. for — a classic, timeless, black leather coat with a full zip up collar and zippers on the cuff sleeves. I was kindly led upstairs to try on a few items. I ended up buying the first one I tried on. I absolutely LOVE it and my two girlfriends want one from the same store now. The sales associates were also accommodating with tax-free forms and receipts. I happily plan on returning to La Pelle the next time I am visiting Florence. Thank you ladies so very much for your kind and welcoming experience. I will tell everyone back in California to visit your store when they visit Italy!

Lucia and Aldo are an important stop every time we are in Florence. All the girls, Grace and Grandma love their new python purses! The boys love the suede vest I bought. I need to call Aldo and have him send me one for each for the holidays! Go to La Pelle and take the stress out of shopping for your leather needs. As a bonus Aldo took us to an excellent restaurant for lunch around the corner.

There is no place in Florence I would buy a leather coat / jacket from other than La Pelle. The quality of the leather, beautiful designs, construction quality, colors, and customer service are beyond outstanding. No one in Florence comes close to matching La Pelle. Many of the other stores you hear about pay their influencers. La Pelle doesn't need to pay me! I've purchased three coats from them and look forward to purchasing more in future visits. They are across the Ponte Vecchio on the Oltano side, down half a block to the right, just off of Piazza di S. Felicita. Grazie mille La Pelle for such beautiful jackets and for making me feel so special!

What a wonderful experience! This review is certainly a little late but nonetheless important. I visited La Pelle in August of 2024 and I can only sing praises to this store and it's delightful owners. My husband and I walked in here on a whim and did not regret it. We were met with warm smiles, a friendly attitude and absolutely no hard sales tactics. The python leather shoes I got are beautiful and have served me well since I bought them. Highly recommended!

The service provided by Sonia and her kind husband was exceptional — they manage the shop with great care and warmly welcome every visitor. I was looking for something special to bring back home and this store was just amazing. The 2 ladies were helpful, and gave me a great experience. They also taught me how to care for exotic leather which is super important to guarantee its longevity. The prices are also very reasonable. After I bought my card holder I went to 2 other stores and the exact same ones were 90 more expensive! When I go back to Florence I’ll definitely be going back.
