Phenomenal! Place was clean and welcoming and the staff was kind and helpful! I currently do not have insurance and have to pay out of pocket for everything, they have a plan where for $330 you can get 2 cleanings and a check up during the year, plus 30% off any other work that is needed! This saves me so much money and makes me worry so much less about being able to take care of my teeth. I went to the haddon heights off and had Dr. Joel and he was beyond wonderful. He took care of me and made sure I was numbed and ready for my extraction. It was an emergency and had to be done as soon as possible, I called at 820ish and had an appt for 1030!
Lake view, and in particular my dental hygenist Melissa, always does an excellent job. I've been coming here for many years and never have to wait more than a couple of minutes past the appointment time, which is also appreciated.

Thank you, Steve!!!
Everyone at the office is friendly, helpful and attentive. Dr. Joel is a great dentist, with a great chair-side manner. I had a significant amount of work done and I didn’t feel a thing. I was told what was happening each step of the way. I am actually looking forward to getting my dental care back on track with Dr. Joel and his exceptional team.
Needed an emergency bonding work.
Made the appointment on line, selected my insurance plan.
2 days later I get a text saying they don’t accept my insurance. Since it’s cosmetic I knew I had to pay out of pocket.
When I got there, they wanted $200 for X-rays and an exam. Then come up with a plan.
Sounds like a racket.
I never really write a review or complain but I went for my 6 month cleaning today, the dental hygienist literally only did the cleaning of bottom teeth to get the plaque and tart of my teeth Did not even touch my top teeth didn't even look at my top to clean them let alone floss my teeth And I find that completely insane considering that what is included in a 6 month dental cleaning. And to top it off the dental assistant seemed not to know what he was really doing. I never had a bad experience at this location but today I did. Dr.Joel is amazing and did everything correctly but after today I don't feel comfortable going back to this location, even though my other times going their my top and bottom teeth got cleaned, and the only reason I didn't complain is cause I saw that the manager was not in. When I walked in to check in.
Deeply Disappointing Experience – Misleading Insurance Info and Poor Accountability
I was told this office accepted my Delta Dental insurance and was quoted $515. Two months later, I received a text demanding another $680. After multiple calls with the office and my insurance provider, I learned they were never in-network—despite assuring me otherwise before treatment.
Even after admitting the mistake wasn’t mine, the staff refused responsibility and blamed my insurance. One staff member even said they “still need to make money” and warned the bill could go to collections. My insurance provider confirmed the office should have known the difference between a PPO and HMO, helped me file a grievance, and paid them over $1,600—yet they still bill me $244.
I noticed other reviews reporting similar insurance issues. Since the office often replies asking patients to call, I did. The office manager was dismissive, unprofessional, and unhelpful, insisting I still owed more.
This office has shown a clear lack of honesty, accountability, and integrity. I’ll be filing complaints with the BBB and the State Board of Dentistry. Based on my experience, I strongly advise avoiding this office for dental care.
