Sad to say, this was the worst curry and in fact overall meal I’ve had in a while. After a lot of hype, we tried both takeaway and dine-in. The takeaway food was covered in the thickest layer of oil I’ve ever seen, so we assumed it didn’t travel well and decided to dine in next time. Unfortunately, the same thing happened. I’ve never seen curry with so much oil so much that it formed a separate layer on top, completely different in color from the actual sauce. The sauce itself was thin and flavourless, overwhelmed by grease.
The naan was also disappointing and, again, dripping in oil. It’s BYOB, but the soft drinks were warm, no ice was provided, and for alcohol, the only option was small plastic cups, no proper glasses.
Service was not great either. No one checked on us, and despite having several staff, they made a habit of for several tables off taking payment before even clearing the table.
