Wir waren heute dort und können es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und man lernt viel über die Tiere. Bitte, bitte, wenn ihr in der privilegierten Situation seid, Urlaub machen zu können, dann informiert euch über die Bedingungen der Tiere, um die richtigen Menschen zu unterstützen. Wir haben uns bewusst für diesen Elefantenpark entschieden, da man hier eben nicht mit den Elefanten baden kann etc. Nicht alle Parks, die mit ethischen Bedingungen werben, sind es auch. Habt Respekt vor Natur und Tier. Hier könnt ihr ohne schlechtes Gewissen hingehen. Um die Tiere wird sich liebevoll gekümmert. Danke an das gesamte Team 🫶🏾

Nádherný útulok pre slony, krásny veľký priestor vhodný pre ich život, prirodzené podmienky , úžasná starostlivosť. Vidno, že pracovníci o slonoch veľa vedia a podľa toho sa k nim aj správajú, pripravujú im jedlo, vozia ich do nemocnice ak treba, hľadajú spôsoby ako im podať lieky. Bola to nádherná skúsenosť a môj splnený sen ❤️ Ďakujem celému personálu Roaming Elephant sanctuary za tento zážitok, ste úžasní.

Vandaag zijn wij naar een tweede olifantenverblijf geweest. KRABI ROAMING ELEPHANT SANCTUARY De eerste was duidelijk meer commercieel dan deze. Daar konden de dieren geaaid en gevoerd worden en was er constant iemand bij. Vandaag in Krabi KRABI ROAMING ELEPHANT SANCTUARY geweest naar gepensioneerde/opgevangen olifanten geweest. Daar wordt mens en dier gescheiden. Veel uitleg over de dieren gehad. Dan kijk je echt met andere ogen en wil je ze niet eens meer aaien en slechts alleen maar bewonderen en op de foto zetten. Elk dier heeft een eigen (menselijk) maatje ‘Mahout‘, die de olifant volledig vertrouwd (werkelijk als een getrouwd stel!). Dit is het eerste hoogseizoen voor hen. Ze verdienen echt de aandacht voor het enorm goede en mooie werk wat ze nog voor deze olifanten kunnen doen. Ik ben er stil van geworden. Het ziet er super verzorgd uit en je kunt er ook met regen heen (zij hebben laarzen en sokken). Zij leven met hart en ziel voor deze dieren. Een dikke vette aanrader!

Świetne miejsce dla osób z dziecmi. Wybraliśmy najtańszą opcję czyli samo karmienie słoni. Byliśmy z 4 dzieci w wieku 9-13 lat. Personel poinstruował jak należy się zachowywać, w jaki sposób podawać jedzenie. Na koniec pracownik zrobił nam zdjęcia. Dzieciom bardzo się podobało. Miejsce czyste, słonie wyglądały na zadbane.

Krabi Roaming Elephant Sanctuary - an ethical experience. The real deal. Ethical elephant sanctuary. These people care. No elephant touching but over a couole of hours you learn aniut their behaviour, life etc. they are allowed to roam free wihiut chains or ropes. We had a guide for just 2 of us who was very knowledgeable. Plenty of photo ops. These elephants cannot be returned to the wind and most have had previous unpleasant life experience - eg logging or entertainment industries. Here they get a chance to live out their years in peace and very well looked after. Well worth the money. Way better than ‘elephant rides’ etc. 100% recommendTUI endorsed too - as an ethical excursion.

Very nice tour. Took two hours with a guide who explained everything about the elephants and what the history of each elephants was. There are 4 animals in total with a mahoud which cares for them and the animals looked happy and healthy from what i could tell. It might look a bit set up because each animal was standing at a seperate location but the guide explained this is for safety reasons. You're dealing with free roaming several tons heavy animals afterall, so if you're looking to touch the animals or take a bath with them for example, this is not the place, which is totally fine in my opinion. You get snacks and drinks before and after the tour for free, the personal was very friendly and helpful and did answer each of your questions. At the end of the tour you could paint your own little bag as a souvenir. The sanctuary is pretty new so they're not that big yet and are missing stuff like a health care station for example, they have to take each elephant to a hospital to get looked after for now. So if you have two hours give them a visit and help them grow, it is worth it in my opinion.

Es war einer unserer schönsten Erlebnisse in Thailand! Under Guide war super freundlich und hat uns sehr viel über die Elefanten erzählt. Außerdem hat er uns auch über das Leid aufgeklärt, was Elefanten in manchen Einrichtungen erfahren müssen, wo man sie streicheln und baden darf. Denn uns war es wichtig, dass wenn wir eine Aktivität mit Elefanten buchen, dann das es den Elefanten in ihrer Einrichtung gut geht und sie keinerlei Quälereien erfahren müssen. Denn das Tierwohl ist uns sehr wichtig. Wenn euch das Tierwohl der Elefanten ebenfalls am Herz liegt, ihr aber auch so eine Tour machen wollt mit Elefanten, dann ist dieses No-Touching Roaming Elephant Sanctuary Guided Tour eine sehr sehr gute Wahl! Darüberhinaus gab es bei der Ankuft, Auswahl verschiedener Snacks, Säfte und Kaffee. Da hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass wir ein wenig mehr Zeit gehabt hätten für die Snacks etc.. Die Einrichtung war sehr authentisch und atemberaubend!

I highly recommend this very well organised, well run, ethical Sanctuary visit. We did the 2-hour Mini Moment at 9am which worked perfectly for us and our toddler. Great communication on Whatsapp in advance about the booking and hotel pickup. The facility is brand new, very clean and in a stunning location. When we arrived, we were offered a wide selection of snacks and drinks while our guide gave an intro about the elephants and the sanctuary's work. In the 2 hours, we toured the beautiful grounds to see 4 elephants, which we observed from a respectful distance, but still close enough for a great view and photos. No riding, bathing or hands-on contact, so the sanctuary really lives up to it's ethical positioning. Highly recommend!

Beautiful ethical elephant sanctuary This is the most cutest amazing and ethical place! We couldn’t have been more happy! They elephants are taken care for and you can watch them from distance. Our guide was attentive and answer any question we got. They also pick you up from the hotel to make it easy for you. If I could rate this 100/10 I would!
