The bespoke curtains look absolutely stunning and give such a high-end finish to the room. We got some double pinch pleat black out curtains made - very happy with results. We originally planned to go with John Lewis, but it turned into a bit of a nightmare with bad customer service & we struggled to get the exact specifications we wanted. Using a local curtain maker was a completely different experience. It felt very personal from start to finish - Koulla really listed to what we wanted, advised us on other fabrics and even came to our space to talk through the options properly. They then returned to fit the curtains themselves to make sure everything looked right. We’ve very happy with the curtains and service, would highly recommend.

If you want curtains that work in your room Koulla Lucia Interiors are the people to use. Koulla, a delightful passionate professional lady came to my house and listened to what I was trying to achieve in my lounge. She gave it thought and came back with samples and suggestions. Just the fact that Koulla came to me instead of me having to go to visit a large store with harsh lighting to try and choose fabrics was of itself a relief. I was able to view the fabrics with both the natural and electric light within my room which enabled me to choose the right colours for my lounge. Don’t underestimate that, store lighting is designed to show the fabrics at their best and often not compatible with the light in your house! Koulla discussed details like types of backing for the curtains, required lengths and so much more. Yes, this will cost more than buying off the shelf, but I assure you it’s worth it. Having made my choice of fabric, backing material, lengths, runners etc Koulla emailed me a detailed quotation. Following a little fine tuning we agreed and Koulla took a deposit. Final payment was made on completion. Koulla presents and does not hard sell! On the day of installation, she arrived with her husband Rocco and with great efficiency installed the curtains. They look great. Why go anywhere else! Thank you Koulla and Rocco.

My experience working with Koulla was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The quality of the fabric options was outstanding, as was the finish of the installation. I could not be more pleased with the result. The rail is clean, subtle and minimal, and the curtains open and close smoothly - the curtains keep out the light that had been keeping me up all summer. Cannot recommend enough.

They handled a variety of windows across the house — from voile panels tosleek roller blinds, to full curtains. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. March 2025 We have just had the absolute pleasure of installing blackout blind shutters in the bedrooms. Koulla's quoting, colour recomendations and measuring is spot on. Her suggestions are invaluable and she could really 'see' the end product while we were standing in a building site. Communication is always quick and clear. The waiting time is quickly over and the installation process is so smooth. Rocco is tidy, organised, and just lovely. He overcame a number of 'old house challenges' and left us with a flawless, modern, gorgeous finish. Would (and have) 10/10 recommend. December 2023 I'm sure that there aren't often curtain emergencies but this year we had one. An entire curtain rail collapsed in a bedroom where the occupant was receiving end of life care. I called Koulla in a panic. She had done the most incredible job with shutters and curtains in our home previously and I had recommended her to my neighbour who recommended her back to me when I was in a stressed muddle. It was snowy and just before Christmas. Nobody had stock. Everyone had closed for Christmas. Koulla and Rocco came to the rescue. They squeezed us in and Rocco managed to fit a new rail impeccably around carers, a nurse, a baby and family members all while chatting football to a very frail gentleman. Their work was stellar, the curtains have never hung better but more than that - they're compassionate, organised, prepared, tidy and human. They worked a Christmas miracle. Would 100% recommend them.

Can’t recommend this local business enough. We give is second to none. Prices are competitive and cheaper than high street alternatives even with a bespoke product / service. We’ve ordered both shutters and (motorised) blinds from KLI and everything was perfect from initial consultation to the fitting of the product.
