Dr. Movaghar is an absolutely wonderful dentist, and I highly recommend him! My son is a patient of his, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he has received. Dr. Movaghar is very kind, patient, and genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions, and make sure my son feels comfortable and understands what is being done. As a parent, that means so much to me.
The entire office staff is also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Everyone is always kind and helpful, and they do a great job creating a comfortable and positive environment.
I’m very grateful to have found a dentist who takes such great care of my son and makes dental visits a positive experience. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares about his patients and provides excellent care, I highly recommend Dr. Movaghar and his team!
If i could give 0 stars i would. I am actually a patient who went there, i have never struggled with dental anxiety or anything like that i actually like going to the dentist. I came there today because i had a good amount of cavities which the doctor went on this whole rampage to my mom, my sister, and i on how we need to stop eating processed food and my mom needs to not let us eat it, my sister and I are older when it comes to making decisions like that. But that doctor it relentless about it. I came in to get some cavities filled and i always used the nitrous oxide, i’ve been using it since i was a little girl and i always did well. Today when i came in they took me back fast and i notice that the water tool was dirty with some hard white stuff on it, i indeed took a video of it. He put the nitrous oxide on and after a few minutes i felt weird and not how i normally feel and im very aware about my body, i asked him to turn it down and he said “ok it was at 50% now its at 30%.” He could tell i was very anxious and tried to wait a little before doing anything. He also tells me that he is going to be numbing both side of my lower mouth and when he asked me you could tell i was unsure because i know it came make you feel like you can’t feel your throat. When i think he should’ve asked my mom if its ok. He proceeded to numb both sides of my mouth and he shuts the door when he started the work and i was EXTREMELY uncomfortable expecially that my mom wasn’t in the room and she was in the other room with my sister because she has major dental anxiety. And i forgot to mention instead of using that jelly stuff to numb me before he put the needle in to fully numb me he puts the laughing gas up really high and tells me “tell me when it feels like your floating.” I felt way worse than that it was way to much and i was panicking and kinda yelled for him to lower it and give me oxygen. He never fully turned it off. and when he was drilling down my cavity i still felt pain and raised my hand and he told me he is going to have to give me some type of block that’s gonna keep my numb way longer. I proceeded to tell him go get my mom i’m not doing no decisions without her. and he tried to talk to me and i kept telling him get my mom. He gets her and my mom was concerned she sat with me for the whole rest of the time and i began to get this weird feeling in my head that was not normal and i kept telling them and it was brushed off. He was rushing the process and was tryna get it done fast. When it was over i said to my mom while he was sitting right there im not coming back ever again and my mom didn’t let my other sister teeth get done. Will be going back to hooldbrooke.
Not only is Dr. Movaghar one of the most patient people I've met, but the the entire staff was absolutely amazing! From walk in to walk out, it was a relaxing, enjoyable experience. No long wait in between the stages of the visit. Everything was explained, not just to me but more importantly to my child! I highly recommend this practice, especially if you have a neurodivergant child.
The place was so kids friendly and all the staff was amazing along with the doctor and dental assistant! The curtsy and their interaction with my grandson (he's 5) felt welcome and unafraid! How the dental assistants and the doctor made him smile and talk to him of what they were doing comfort his fears. Thank you for being here in our community (Salem County) we desperately needed this for our youth children in this area! Kudos to Kool Koala👏

I honestly don’t even know where to begin because this office was PHENOMENAL from the moment we walked through the door!
I brought my three little ones in, my 8-year-old son who is autistic, my 7-year-old daughter, and my 5-year-old son who is also autistic. As a parent of children with special needs, finding healthcare providers who genuinely understand and accommodate my children is extremely important to me. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced offices that advertise themselves as being great with children with special needs, only to get there and have my children turned away or made to feel like they are “too much.” It is incredibly frustrating and heartbreaking as a parent.
That was NOT our experience here.
From the front desk staff to the dental assistant to Dr. M, everyone was absolutely amazing. I wish I could remember everyone’s names because they truly deserve to be recognized!
The dental assistant was incredible. She was patient, gentle, and took her time with my children. She allowed my boys to try to participate without forcing them when they weren’t ready. There was no rushing, no frustration, and no trying to push them past their comfort level. That meant SO much to me as their mom.
And Dr. Movaghar… AMAZING! ❤️
I have unfortunately been in situations where people will talk around my sons or completely overlook them because they are nonverbal. Not here. Dr. Movaghar spoke directly to them, acknowledged them, included them, and treated them just like any other patient.
One of my favorite parts was watching Dr. Movaghar allow my sons to observe their sister’s appointment first. He let them watch the tools being used and see exactly what was happening so they could become familiar and comfortable with the process before it was their turn.
And when it was finally their turn, WE MADE IT HAPPEN! 🙌🏽 It truly felt like we were a team. The staff, Dr. Movaghar, my boys, and me all worked together instead of anyone forcing anything on them.
And the best part? By the end of the visit, my boys were giving high-fives and hugs, and my daughter was too! 🥹❤️ That alone told me everything I needed to know about how comfortable and welcomed my children felt.
As a special needs parent, being able to walk into a dental office and feel like my children are genuinely welcomed, respected, and understood is priceless. You can tell when people are simply doing their job versus when they genuinely care, and this team genuinely cares.
We have officially found our new dental home! 🦷❤️

Extreamly friendly and down to earth. Was super understanding when my gps made us late , even came to check up on us while we waited for our turn to be seen. Dr.M was crazy awesome with my son and made a great connection with him .

I just left the office with my son Arthur for his cleaning, and I cannot express with words just how incredible Dr. Movaghar and the rest of his staff at Kool Koala in Pennsville are. Dr. M was extremely detailed, gentle, quick, and very informative. We pulled into the parking lot completely unsure of how the appointment will go, and left happy and relieved with much knowledge to bring home and implement into our daily routines. I know this will be the place for us from now on.
