The milk kefir grains are wonderful! I have purchased several times to share with family and friends - so simple to ferment and so healthy for your body!
I strain the grains every other day (I like my kefir really sour so I ferment 2-cup batches for 48 hours.) I start new grains with whole milk but over time I mix whole with skim until, after several weeks, I am able to ferment nonfat kefir. Easy and scrumptious!!!

I have had my continuous brew going for years. The biggest issue I had was attempting to keep all those nasty fruit flies out of my kombucha! That is, until I found the absolutely wonderful covers, the Brewer Cap that Hannah offers in her merch store. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Those covers fit everything - even my SCOBY Hotel! They are very well made and add a pop of color to my CB container. 😁
Ever since I started using the Brewer Cover, like magic, I have had ZERO issues with those pesky fruit flies!
I highly recommend the Brewer Covers to everyone. It will make your Kombucha experience literally care-free!

Thank you, Robin! We're so glad you love it. To infuse juices, add them during the second fermentation for flavor and carbonation. I've recently started brewing again and I've gone back to Kombucha Kamp. They've assisted me both then and now. They offer plenty of instructions, courses if that's not enough, and when I had something growing that I thought might be mold, I sent them a picture. They assured me it wasn't mold. Some SCOBYs just look a little funky at times. And how many companies would go with me to that level of detail? Kombucha Kamp is my go to for all things Kombucha. Also, I highly recommend continuous brewing. So much easier.

Your latest email mentioned, "which, kombucha or kefir?'" I have been making kombucha for more than 20 years. About a year ago, I started making water kefir with grains from you. I add a bit of honey (heated to sterilize) from my hives as a nutrient giving a pleasant pineapple juice taste.
My young grandsons always asked for kombucha and started mixing it with water kefir. They loved it and called it kombufir. Kombufir is now my favorite. :)

I love my milk and water kefir! I've ordered from this store since 2019 and have always had great customer service as well a a fantastic product. I destroyed my grains during a move a while ago and just reordered more. I sure missed my daily dose of probiotics! Thank you, Hannah!
