Amy helped us with the selections for our living room, and the entire experience—from our first conversation to the final installation—was exceptional. We absolutely love the furniture and design pieces she chose for us, and the way she and her team brought the room together is just beautiful. Their attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and professionalism made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. What has impressed me just as much is Amy's continued support as we plan other areas of our home and future renovations. She has been incredibly generous with her knowledge of the design and renovation process, is very transparent and upfront about costs, and provides excellent guidance on which items it makes sense to prioritize. She helped us make the most of our budget without ever making us feel like our project was too small. For years we put off renovating our kitchen because we were nervous about making a mistake with such an important room in our home, not to mention the investment. As I stand in my absolute dream kitchen, I could not be happier with our decision to trust Amy and the Koehndesign group for our project. Amy surpassed our expectations. She has an innate talent, impeccable taste and was able to incorporate our individual style. The quality of the design and workmanship is evident in every detail. I contacted Amy and her team to help with design advice. I knew immediately that this is a very special company. They are super professional and know all the ins and outs of the construction business. Amy intuitively can tell what style you are trying to achieve and everything she picks is gorgeous. She is a mom and knew exactly what I meant when I said I have 2 boys and that my style is “durable.” I never knew that durable could look so elegant though. She knows that sometimes the smallest design details can have the biggest impact on a space. She is incredibly responsive and is there to reassure you or just be a caring ear to listen when things aren’t staying on track with the build. Choosing to hire Amy and Koehn Design has been the best decision I made in this building journey… thank you so much! We hired Koehn Design for a full-service design of a complete basement remodel, and we honestly could not be happier. This was a full gut of a 1953 bungalow basement, and our goal was to have the design align upstairs renovation from 2021 while still feeling bolder, more colorful and filled with personality. Amy was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Communication was always prompt, and her sense of style is next to none. Everything she selected is absolutely stunning and came together beautifully. The finished basement feels cohesive, elevated, and full of interest with bold wallpaper/ murals, lighting, tile and paint selections that we absolutely LOVE. Highly recommend working with Koehn Design if you want to fall in love with your home all over again and have a space that truly stands out.

We found her through instagram, we are both Calgary based. I’ve never been one for understanding how to put interior design together… After one hour long coffee chat, Amy completely understood my entire aesthetic, my goals for the home, She’s like the perfect hybrid between a therapist, a mother, a friend, and a coworker. So far every room she’s designed for us (On computer— We don’t start building for a few months still) Has been completely breathtaking. Amy, I believe works best when you just let her run with a vision—- Eg. there were some things that I wanted to change up on her, ( wallpaper, furniture layout) But now I’m reverting back to her original inspiration. All the while, Amy was subtly growing her fifth child to bring into this world. You won’t be disappointed using Amy & her team 🤍

We hired Koehn Design to create a beautiful brand new living room area complete with a new fireplace addition. The work so far has been completed to the highest standard and quality, with the most professional and friendly team of professionals. It’s wonderful to be able to trust our home to such capable individuals. We have been beyond pleased with Koehn Design that we have decided to use them for future work in both the interior and exterior of our house (and there’s a lot!). There’s no one else we trust and I’m so happy to have discovered Amy, Matt and the team. We haven’t been disappointed in any aspect of our experience, which is a complete first for us. Amy and her team did a wonderful job with choosing timeless furniture, bedding and decor, including accessories and rugs. The workmanship of trades was superb. Staff were friendly, Professional, Trustworthy and reliable. We love the wall paper, backsplash and wall fluting work especially. We get lots of compliments from visitors on the modern but classy vibe, sophisticated and stylish staging.

I never dreamed I could get my dream kitchen without a gut reno. But Amy worked with what we had (no cupboard demo!) and delivered a transformation that was beyond my wildest expectations. Her trades timelines were compact and they delivered on time. The only time we went over budget is when I added something ;) She took my Pinterest board to heart and nailed my personal style mixing old and new. Having someone order all your furniture, then deliver and style it all in one day is the luxury I didn’t know I needed. And lastly, nerding out with Amy about beautiful items (big and small) has been such a delight.

I am unsure where to begin because the transformation of our kitchen and living room thanks to Amy's (Koehn Design) Team truly cannot be put into words!! We were referred to Amy and Koehn Design, and after reviewing their Instagram posts, I knew I would be happy with ANY of the kitchens they designed... simply. stunning. I met with Amy and I had a huge collection of inspo for our vision. She said- "we can do that, but better." And she did. Her team did a complete DEMO of the main floor, right down to the sub-floor in a matter of days. From that process on, every step was taken care of. An important note, is that the electricians, millwork team, flooring experts, ALWAYS SHOWED UP! And if they didn't, Amy would promptly let me know what happened and when they would arrive. If you want to see her/their work, look at her website and instagram- that is exactly what you're going to get! The results speak for themselves. And you will be shocked that this all happens in a matter of months... not years like some renovations. If you are looking for a team that you can TRUST, and gets you results in your home that really makes it feel like home.....you have found it right here with Koehn Design. I could not be happier that I decided to choose Koehn Design for my interior design. Amy’s style is impeccable. She and her team created the most perfect space in my home. There is no way I could have achieved what she did on my own. It is timeless and elegant, cozy and comfortable. I can’t even count how many compliments I have received since they did my entryway, living room and dining area last summer. Not only is the space beautiful, but Amy and her team were amazing to work with. She has excellent communication and the whole process was very well coordinated, organized and timely.
