I had an absolutely blast at Kitemex. Nico, the owner of the place, is extremely kind and caring. He carefully chooses the right instructor for your level and skills. The athmosphere was very nice at the Kitemex. If you are traveling alone, I am sure, you will quickly meet people there to hang out with outside of kiting. I will definitely be back there and will miss the place and the people for sure.

Great experience! I didn’t know nothing about kiting, and ended up being able to stand up and surf around a bit by the end of a week of lessons..! Very cool! The place, staff, instructor, the gear, the vibe, everything! Management is flawless, very accommodating, the lessons are really tailored for each person too. Honestly, nothing but good things for this place. Thank you so much! Great place to learn from scratch, really, I recommend! 👍

We had an amazing week at the kite school! I brought several friends with different experience levels, and everyone had a great time - whether taking lessons or enjoying the flexibility and support with equipment rentals. The instructors are incredibly friendly, professional, and fun, which made the whole experience even better.

I highly recommend KiteMex. Had lessons with Jazel, Nico, and Luna. They had good communication and a focus on safety and were really flexible and attentive to make sure I got all the instruction I desired. In two days I went from never having been on a board to starting to make some upwind turns. Day one was circuits with walking back up the beach; day two was a downwinder with jet ski support which really helped build skills. I started on my own kite and bar but switched to theirs on day 2, which was way easier to fly. They also handled a major self line tangle of mine quite impressively while I was a ways offshore. Would have been not fun without their support! Absolutely worth the money. I would have booked more days if there had been more wind. Thanks Kitemex!

I had an amazing experience with Kitemex in La Ventana. Nico runs the school extremely well - everything is perfectly organized, communication is smooth, and the prices are very fair. You can really feel the professionalism behind it. I started completely from zero. Learning kiting takes time and patience - of course it also depends on the person - but I always felt well supported, even when conditions were challenging. Basilio was my instructor and did a great job guiding me through the whole process. He pushed me to improve and helped me build a solid foundation, which I truly appreciate. The location is fantastic - directly at the beach, which makes everything super convenient and creates the perfect environment to learn. I’m very happy with the progress I made and can highly recommend Kitemex to anyone who wants to learn or improve their kiting. I’m motivated to continue practicing! Thank you, Nico and Basilio!

Wonderful experience. Great professional guides and a laid back atmosphere at probably one of the best locations to learn in La Ventana. Practice downwinders right out of the gate. Spent multiple days taking lessons and learning from Nico, Vincente and Sergio. My family relaxed on the beach while I was in the water. The whole family enjoyed the location. I cant wait to go back and visit them again.
