Bud helped me piece back together a stunt kite. Lots of emails and correspondence back and forth from Alberta to Ontario and all while getting ready for a trade show in Calgary. No small feat. Top notch service. Great looking store.

I've wanted to get into kite flying for a while. I mean, Alberta certainly has the open spaces and wind for it! I'm wondering why there isn't a more developed kite community! I found The Kite Guys and they were so eager to share their knowledge with me. They offer quality products and so I know I'm getting a kite (okay, I admit that I purchased a few of them as I couldn't decide on just one!) that will last. Shipping was also fast and they encouraged me to contact them anytime I had questions. I feel good supporting an independent, Canadian-based business.

Amazing experience. I live quite a distance away from Bentley. I made an appointment off season and Bud opened the store for me. Packed full of kites and all things that blow in the wind. I just didn't know where to look first. Bud has a wealth of information and tips and tricks that I put to good use. I would highly recommend anybody to get off the main highway and visit this unique store. He also sells on-line.

Like a ton of common sense knowledge to get you flying sooner. Come to Bentley and visit our store in the former United Church. An excellent showroom of kites and stuff.

Thank you Paul for those kind words. We do have a nice park across the street with a basket ball court, playground, including slide, swings and weird monkey bars stuff for the kids. Picnic tables and shade and some in the sun. The much larger school field only a few blocks away from the store. Thanks for visiting Bentley and shopping at the kite guys store. Had a great conversation with Sharon and Bud about adjusting the angle of attack so the kites will fly in a wider wind range. Great inventory and fantastic place to learn advanced kite tactics.

Ah Brian, you make me blush. Ask me anything about kites and I will fill you ears. We love teaching people new things.
Such a neat little shop and worth the visit! My kids loved exploring all the kite options and learning about all the different kinds of kites. The owners were amazing and taught us how to tie the kite knots and spent time teaching us how to do a bunch of tricks with the kites we chose. My kids have been obsessed with refining their kite talent since! The owners even told the kids to bring back their kites next time and they’ll show them even more tips and tricks, my kids are already begging to go back.

Ordered a windsock for my boat description said "inflates with the slightest breeze". Extremely heavy and stiff fabric. Does not fill with air at all. Return policy is for store credit, does not include shipping cost. Absolutely terrible experience.

Sometimes it's tough being the lightweight heavy guy. Try to Fly it for a period of time to let the fabric soften up a little. Good luck

Incredible knowledge & customer service. Definitely worth the drive from Edmonton. Huge selection of kites and accessories for all budgets & interests. Repairs available on site-very happy to have a replacement rod to make an older kite flyable again. Will definitely be back.

A beautiful drive from Edmonton was this gem of a goal today. Located in an old church this really adds a majestic view and good vibes. A good visit with the "kite mechanic" saved one of our older kites. Also the options to grow our collection was a boost too 😉

We love the tall wooden cathedral ceiling in our old Church building. It really lets us display our kites well. Also, having a nice large work area at the back of the shop (Choir seats) along with all the necessary equipment and materials on hand to complete repairs on new and old classics makes my work enjoyable and easy. I love my job, I'll bet it shows too.
I enjoyed some of the Kite Guys' products when I was younger (much younger) and can't believe I stumbled across their website and found their awesome products again 20 years later! Awesome (Kite) guys, awesome company. Thanks for helping me relive moments I really enjoyed as a teenager that I get to share again with my kids!!
