Audiologist Kristy Tilley will help me keep on salsa dancing!
She is the OPPOSITE of a one-size-fits-all medical professional-in-a-rush. She patiently answered my endless questions, and enthusiastically offered a wealth of well-informed options. She also had the wisdom and common sense to suggest practical, achievable solutions, all tailored to my specific hearing needs and life activities.
I’m a composer, flutist, salsa dancer—and a skeptic who thoroughly researches all medical advice before acting on it. Without hesitation, even I trusted Kristy Tilley’s advice 100%. And office staffer Rosie could not have been more accommodating, supportive and professional.

Hi, Jack. Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience. We truly appreciate it!
I’ve driven by Kingston Audiology for years, but had never given them a second look. But I got a bad case of swimmer’s ear a while ago and my doctor convinced me to start wearing earplugs. I tried silicone ones from the drugstore, but wasn’t happy with the fit. So when I read that Kingston Audiology was under new management, I made an appointment to get some custom-fitted earplugs.
I’ve had friends warn me about going to an independent audiology shop, since they’ve had bad experiences with high-pressure sales tactics. But that wasn’t what I experienced at Kingston. I made an appointment with the audiologist, and was delighted with the care I got. Not only did Dr. Tilley fit me for the earplugs, she gave me some tips for ear health that my regular doctor has never mentioned. I generally like to get my health care from someone who’s up to date on their field, and that appears to be true for ears, too.
I’m very happy with my earplugs, and haven’t had any more problems with water in my ear since I’ve been wearing them. I think I’m going to go back and have some custom earplugs for hearing protection made, too. I’m going to work harder to make sure I stave off as much hearing loss as I can, and I’m confident I’ve found a local partner to help me in that quest.

I had an appointment with Dr Tilley, the new audiologist today, and thought she was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to get to know. Highly recommend the office. I thought Dr Barron and Dr Perry were professional, too.

Hi, Terry. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you for the review!
Friendly receptionist but the music piped into the waiting room is torture. Waited half and hour and was never seen. Had another appointment so I left, after paying $55 for my copay. Asked for a refund but the receptionist said she had to consult the "office manager." Will not go back to this place, it feels very unprofessional. Will go to the audiology dept at Mid-Hudson hospital, they're very friendly and helpful.
The people here are very nice and now I can hear again. My hearing aids are almost invisible, and I never have to say what? or huh? anymore. I can hear things I haven't heard in decades like the directional signals in my car make a sound and instruments in music I couldn't hear before. I highly recommend Kingston Audiology
