First, I will not call him 'doctor'. We visited Soumya Paik for our kids' rickets. He cut a part of our kid's leg bone and attached plates there. It's been 6 months, but our kids' legs are still not straight. When we visited him again, he was suggesting another surgery. We visited many other places, and all the doctors who looked at the pre-surgery X-ray said that whatever the doctor did was absolutely unnecessary and there was no major surgery needed, which had been done by Soumya Paik was 100%wrong, and it was easily curable by putting clips inside. Please stay away from money-minded so-called doctors like Soumya Paik and save your kid's health and life.

We are extremely sorry for your unfortunate experience. Patient's leg ( tibia) was singnificantly internally rotated along with bowing . Internal rotation cant be picked up by xray and can be seen clinically and we have all documented clinical records . Clip surgery cant correct significant rotation . Leg ( tibia) was corrected by surgery and you agreed that and it was also duely documented , but due to growth disturbances it is agian getting bent from other bone ( femur) which needs 8plate . However , loosing confidance is genuiune from your side but hope you dont fall to fire from frying pan . Wish we can help your further . Difference of opinion is not uncommon in medical field , but we are earger to see other doctor prescription who mentioned our surgery was 100% wrong ..
