Ein scheinbar recht neuer aber wunderbarer Ausflug mit klasse Aktivitäten. Von „an der Zipline durch den Dschungel“ über „wir bereiten Elefanten ihr Mittagessen zu“ bis hin zu „mit dem ATV durch den Dschungel driften“. Alles toll organisiert mit bestens gelaunten Guides wurde dies zu einem schönen und erinnerungswürdigem Urlaubsausflug. Also trotz der wenigen Bewertungen bisher nicht abschrecken lassen - unserer Meinung nach lohnt es sich. Wir hatten sogar das Glück die ganze Tour zu zweit genießen zu können. Ein sehr leckeres, einheimisches Mittagessen gab es ebenfalls in einer sehr schönen Umgebung.

Der Ausflug war von vorne bis hinten super. Die Abholung am Hotel war sehr pünktlich. Alle drei Aktivitäten haben uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht, aber das Quad fahren war das Beste. Das Essen war auch lecker und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Auf das Wohl der Elefanten wurde viel Wert gelegt. Wir können diesen Ausflug warmem Herzens empfehlen.
Skip the Waterside Khao Lak cooking class. They wanted 1500 baht (£35) per person for a single papaya salad. We explained to Maam that we weren’t willing to pay and that this wasn’t what we expected from a cooking class before it started but she responded very rudely. She offered other dishes like pad Thai and green curry but we had to pay more which is 3000baht (£71) which is not worth it with transportation not included. She said the fee was for using the facilities like lake (swimming pool), a kiddie water obstacle and having lunch that we cooked.

Absolutely not recommended! We booked the 1-hour tour. We were picked up in front of the hotel, the driver communicated with us via a translator, which was still okay. When we got to the venue, they let us out and nobody cared about us. We thought our guide wasn't there yet, so we didn't want to say anything right away. After about a quarter of an hour, they silently handed us a slip to fill in our passport details. After a short time, they gave us two fucked-up quads, pointed their finger at a toddler (approx. 10 years old) with the words "Follow him." Then we followed the kid for about 45 minutes on a training ground. In between, one of the quads even had to be swapped. There was no sign of the promised beautiful landscape, bathing in a canal, or any other promises. We felt absolutely NOT SAFE on the tour!
