Chichen Itza and cenotes
Wow. Top notch. Our guide Aldo is very educated on the Maya culture and history. Our tour with him was very interactive, and he was able to answer all of our questions. We toured Chichen Itza, Sammal cenote, and a village tour. Lunch at the cenontes was at an incredible restaurant (included in the tour). If booking with Kay tours, I highly suggest asking for Aldo as your guide.

Daniel A. was our guide and he was absolutely top notch! His knowledge and passion about Chichen Itza and the Mayan culture made our tour more enjoyable than expected. Daniel was flexible, attentive, provided helpful tips and advice and is a great conversationalist! Our day was wonderful and we are so happy we chose this tour company and got so lucky having Daniel for our guide.

Paco was the best tour guide. I'm so happy that we went on this tour, it was my favorite part of my trip to Mexico. Paco really took care of us and taught us a depth to the Mexican culture that would have been missed without him there. His knowledge and passion are a great service to the country of Mexico and if you have the opportunity to spend some time with him you may consider yourself blessed! I'm truly surprised by how much this whole experience opened my heart and inspired new life within me. Absolutely unforgettable experience – highly recommend (especially Rodrigo!)
This private Chichen Itza tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and our guide Rodrigo truly made the experience special.Rodrigo took incredible care of us all day. He was knowledgeable, kind, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Arriving at Chichen Itza early was magical — we were able to explore before most of the large tour groups arrived, which made a huge difference. We spent about two hours there, and it never felt rushed.After Chichen Itza, we headed to a nearby cenote that was absolutely beautiful and refreshing after a sweaty walk around the ruins. Once we finished swimming, we were treated to a buffet lunch that was surprisingly amazing.We ended the day in Valladolid, where we had time to walk around, shop, and simply relax. Sitting at a rooftop café with coffee overlooking the town square was the perfect way to wrap up the day.I also have to give a special shoutout to Rodrigo. If I could give him 5 stars on his own, I would. I accidentally left a small backpack behind at one of our stops and didn’t realize it until we were back at our hotel, about three hours away. Rodrigo went way above and beyond, arranging for a coworker to pick it up the next day and personally return it to us at our hotel in Playa del Carmen. That kind of care really says everything.I would absolutely recommend this tour — and especially Rodrigo — to anyone thinking about booking it. It was an unforgettable experience.
Perfect Day At Chichen Itza and Cenote!
Amazing experience! Our guide Johnny was incredibly knowledgeable about the Maya and the history of the region and Chichén Itzá. He got us there early before the crowds and the heat and we really enjoyed our tour. We had two restaurant and cenote options to choose from as well. He guided us through it all and took some fantastic pics throughout. Thank you Johnny for a wonderful day!

Fabulous and professionally executed daytrip!
James was fabulous, picking us up early to beat the crowd, he comfortably and safely transported us in a down pour, filling the travel time with information about the geography, people, culture, and local animals. When I told him it was too early to ask him questions, he put on a fabulous acoustic guitar playlist. His English was smooth and he gave a knowledgable tour of Chichen Itza. It was obvious he enjoys his job. He was charismatic and likable, evident by all of the smiling faces and friendly greetings from fellow guides and vendors. He knew the right picture spots and took many great photos for us. After he had lunch with us at a planned luncheon, and surprised me when staff delivered a birthday dessert with candle and song. The food was a pleasant surprise and much better than I expected for a buffet and packaged tour. After we swam at scenic Cenote Samaal, and then took a quick stop thru Valladolid, where James expertly guided us to a great coffee shop Cafe Arte) and a chocolate museum across the street for a fabulous chocolate. cookie. We definitely didn't need snacks. He brought breakfast for us, ample drinks, and lunch was plenty filling, but who doesn't appreciate an afternoon coffee break! All around fabulous day, the tour company clearly knows what it's doing, and James is a professional. Everything was easy. I highly recommend all of the above!
Perfect day with a magical ending!
We had an incredible time visiting Chichén Itza, Ek Balam, and Cenote Samaal. We made a special request to also see a closed cenote. Not only did Aldo accommodate our request, but he picked such a special spot. We got to enjoy a remote cenote all to ourselves to end our one “adventure day” on our Cancun besties trip. What a magical end to the day! Safe driving, kind, funny and fun. Thank you Aldo!

Best Snorkeling in Riviera Maya!!!!! 10/10
Best Snorkeling Maya Riviera! 🐢🐠Rebecca was our guide, she was so nice and knowledgeable about the area and about the animals. We were able to have a one on one snorkel experience as were able to see many turtles, coral, sponge, sting rays, manta rays, lion fish, stone fish and many others! We went early in the morning 7:30AM pick up form hotel. We were able to have two snorting sessions and were back at the hotel by 10:45AM. Great trip for only a few hours! We will be back again!
Outstanding Day
Our family booked a private tour and had David as our guide. This was truly a five star experience from start to finish. We were picked up at our hotel in a very nice van and David gave us wonderful information about what we were going to see. His knowledge and presentation of information were outstanding. We visited Chichen Itza, the Cenote and the colonial town. Lunch at a very nice establishment was included. We never felt rushed, and he allowed us to linger in places as we pleased. I highly recommend David and this tour.
Convenient, fast, professional private trip to Chichen
Super convenient and professional service!! Driver picked us up at 6:30am sharp and brought us to Chichen Itza directly. Very smooth process - didn’t worry about a thing. He had waters and cold towels for us too.
We were delighted to be in the company of our wonderful tour guide, Adrian and his colleague Jose for our Chichen Itza and Cenote tour. The tour began with the early arrival of smiling guides, who welcomed us (a group of six) into a very comfortable and spacious van.
Adrian was warm, humorous and extremely knowledgeable and we knew we were in great hands immediately.
The two hour drive was very smooth and comfortable, with Adrian kindly checking in often to see if we needed a bathroom break, free snacks, food or chilled beverages.
Adrian was clearly very experienced in his tour guiding, and the 2.5 hour tour of the Chichen Itza was enlightening, educating, and well paced. Adrian has great connections with the Mayan people, and it is clear that he is very passionate and respectful in his work.
We felt very well cared for during the Cenote exploration as well; he accompanied us to the very bottom of the sink hole, and from what we could tell, no other tour guide took such care of their guests. Always smiling and happy to answer questions, Adrian was helpful and humble. He even brought us to a beautiful rooftop coffee shop in Valladolid, a hidden gem that we definitely would not have found without him.
Overall, the tour was an incredible experience and we would recommend this to everyone. Thank you Adrian and Jose for showing us a small pocket of your home.
