I had a wonderful visit to Kallu Farms a few days ago! I was as much amazed at the work done to establish such a project in Kallu, as I was with the beauty and serenity of the place. The methodical and structured way this business is set up, and the way they have engaged the local community and ecosystem - making it a true Kallu Enterprise - is wonderful. We all need to build such sustainable and impact oriented relationships with our roots. I am grateful to the Kallu Farms team for arranging the trip, and great to see the way all the kettle are taken care of, from nutrition to medical care, and the very effective use of technology and digital media to manage not only the ground operations but also the communication of the same to the stakeholders and customers. It makes purchasing an animal hassle free and removes the need for bargaining, where sellers usually have the upper hand. I recently had the opportunity to visit a farm, and it turned out to be a truly impressive experience. The farm is well-maintained, clean, and organized, which clearly depicts the care being done by the management. The goats are healthy, active, and clearly well looked after. Their feeding system appears balanced.The housing area is spacious, well-ventilated, and designed to protect the animals from extreme weather. It is highly recommended for anyone interested in sacrificial animals and we are happily satisfied with their conduct and their team.

Every year, buying an animal for Eid is a task. In mandi, you don't really know how well the goats were raised and if their diet was organic or not. This year, I luckily came across Kallu Farms and there no going back. All I had to do was to tell them my budget and they shared all the available goats from their inventory within in my budget. I picked one and now that I get weekly updates on the weight of my goat. My kids have also already built a connection with our goat (which is the whole point of qurbani) and we can visit Kallu Farms anytime to meet our goat as well. They will also deliver the goat to my door steps at Eid. What else can one ask for?

I recently purchased three bakras from Kallu Farms for Eid ul Azha, and the experience has been excellent so far. What stood out to me most was the level of detail provided for each bakra on their website, I haven’t come across such thorough information anywhere else. Previously, I used to order from Metro, but there was always some doubt about whether the animal fully met Shariah requirements. With Kallu Farms, the regular updates and photos make the entire process much more reassuring. The kids at home are thrilled and have already named their bakras! Overall, I’m very pleased with the experience.
