I have a 15 month old Labrador called Zach who became almost unbearable with pulling on his lead. He also was hesitant when meeting other dogs only to lunge forward as they passed. I contacted Andi who stated she could help with the issues described and recommended the Handler Boot Camp course. On the first lesson, Andi identified Zach's issues and began to work her magic. After the first lesson we noted a great improvement with Zach's walking. Improvements continued during the course, these included Zach's manners, loose lead waling and his reactiveness to other dogs as Andi introduced other dogs near to Zach in a controlled manner. Each evening I received an email containing a short video of the day's lesson which I found really helpful to refresh my memory. In conclusion, Zach is great with his loose lead walking and has no issues passing other dogs. I was really pleased with the training both Zach and I received and the way it was delivered.

I've been in contact with Andi on and off since my 2 and a half year old dog Ronnie, was about a year old. At first she gave me free advice on a few issues I'd been having (I can't recall which but it must've been growling or perceived aggression because when I got in touch again recently, she went back through our messages and realised I was having the same issues.) I came to Andi again recently, as Ronnie had been growling at family members and guests. He'd been biting the ankles of guests and even ran out the door to bite someone who'd been cleaning my car. Thankfully NONE of these bites broke the skin, but I needed to take action before he bit the wrong person. He'd also been peeing/marking inside the house, and on walks he is a serial pee-er. Peeing on literally every single thing he walked past. He'd cry and bark at the sight of other dogs, and he'd be a nightmare to walk, pulling and being a general nuisance. It didn't matter how many videos on training I watched, I simply didn't have a clue what I was doing. Rehoming Ronnie will never ever be an option to me and so the spending money on investing in my dog with a professional was the only answer. I booked a 4 hour session (which didn't seem like a lot at first, until I realised her free advice over WhatsApp worked before I'd even met her in person) Immediately Andi told me I needed to reintroduce a crate inside the house. Ronnie was no longer allowed to sleep on my bed or get on the furniture. We were instructed to go back to basics, Ronnie needed reminding he is a dog first, and the bottom of our pack. WITHIN DAYS Ronnie's behaviour improved dramatically. It took a couple of attempts leading Ronnie into the crate with a slip lead before he eventually went in himself on the word "bed". Within a week Ronnie was opting for going in the crate himself. That is now his safe space and nobody is allowed to approach when near - peeing inside has stopped immediately. Growling has reduced dramatically and restarted again the moment I invited Ronnie back onto our bed. He is now not allowed on furniture for at least the next 6 months until I can establish these habits. I then met Andi on four occasions, we went for walks and worked on his marking outside, we also worked on some games to keep him occupied whilst walking, and his behaviour when walking past other dogs. All of these issues I'd been having already stopped or dramatically decreased after the first session. I realised that I had all the answers, I just needed guidance to put these answers into motion and work with Ronnie. She brought along her gorgeous dog Tucker for our last session and I got to watch him (with envy) as he showed me just why she is the real deal. He was smart, polite and well behaved off lead. Andi has a no nonsense approach. She tells you how it is, she tells the dog how it is. There's a lot of consistent work to be done with Ronnie but Andi is worth every penny. Thank you Andi, I will probably be in touch in the future to do more progressive work with Ronnie but in the meantime I'm using the tools I've been given to work with and seeing how we get on. If you'd like to see how we got on, she's uploaded our walks to youtube and they're incredibly insightful to watch.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review šŸ™šŸ„³

I'm so glad I was able to help and make sure a difference in such a short time.

Consistentency is key, it's too early to be slipping back Into your bad habits because as he showed you. As soon as you do, he will. And he will revert back to how he was before. So keep to the routine and you will go from strength to strength, don't change anything I had have told/shown you.

You can always jump in some.of the Group classes I do on a Sunday just to keep on with him, if not I will no doubt see you around the dell at some point!

Thank you again for the fabulous reviews, and you know where I am if you need further advice/guidance.

Regards Andi

Neville came to us as his fifth rescue home. And within days I could see why! His anxiety issues were terrible, and his prey drive was off the scale. He nearly cracked a rib throwing himself at our garden wall to get at a passing horse. Our walks were always cut short by his constant straining on the the lead to chase wildlife. And finally he managed to escape to chase next door’s cat and was hit by a car! I was literally at my wits end, when a fellow dog-walker suggested Andi. I wasn’t familiar with e-collars, and held the old-fashioned opinion that they were nasty and gave a ā€˜shock’. I was so wrong. In just five days Andi had Nev off-lead and living his best life in the fields over the moors (even surrounded by cows, sheep and ponies) I couldn’t even have dreamed this was possible just a week before. And when he’s not running free, his ā€˜heel’ is excellent - no more straining on the lead, and pulling my arms out of the sockets! And the freedom has hugely decreased his anxiety issues. I can’t imagine how we would have coped if we hadn’t met Andi. I’ve still got lots of continuing work to do to improve (both me and Nev) but Andi is always there for advice. Highly recommended. Thanks Andi, from me and Neville

I can’t tell you how pleased I am that I found Andi . I was looking for some online guidance to help with a few issues that our new rescue lurcher had. I looked at quite a few and then I found Andi and what a lady she is. We’d had dogs all our lives but Andi was still able to bring something new to our understanding of dogs and their behaviour. She gave us some really helpful guidance and answered all the questions that we had and got us on the path to success. It’s early days but her methods are already producing great results - and you have the added benefit of watching her online videos as reminders of what you should be doing - which have proved invaluable especially as we don’t live in the UK and so its ideal for us thats she offers an online option as well as her boot camp classes. You can see straight away how much she loves dogs not just because it’s her job but because she wants every dog large or small to have a great life and live it to their full potential with their owners. Andi never judges so if you’re needing help with your dog she is definitely the lady to call. Don’t just take my word for it check out some of her videos on her YouTube site as proof to how she gets such positive results. She gets 5 āļørating from me and Ziggy.

Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and effective! Lovely lady, 100% recommend if you want the job done right. Recently adopted a 1yo GSD who had been re-homed 5 times prior to us!! Rosie had no boundaries, or manners, as had no real guidance before us. After a couple of sessions her behaviour showed much improvement, and we’re now on the path to undoing Rosies 1 year of misguidance!

Thank you so much, and I'm glad you are happy with the progress you have all made!
I'm so glad Rosie got you as owners, finally someone who is putting the time and effort in.
You will go from strength to strength with her.

I am here at any time, for free online advice should you have any more questions or queries.
Don't hesitate to ask!
And thank you for choosing k9bootcamp.

I booked a 5 day training programme with K9 BootCamp for my old English Bulldog due to the difficulties I was having controling him in certain situations. He is very powerful, as well as reactive to other dogs and this was a huge cause of concern for me because I didn't always feel safe handling him. I have been to other dog trainers and group classes and I have been proactive in trying to have a better behaved pooch. I was particularly drawn to the intense 5 day training and hoped it would make a difference. It did. I only wish I had been to Andi 2 years ago when I first got him. With Andi's expertise and thorough knowledge of dog training I have gained confidence in my own ability to handle him safely. He is like a different dog, well behaved, more obedient. Walking him now is so much fun for both of us. I have learned how to play with him, distract him and take control of his impulses. It's a work in progress and I intend to continue with the process. Worth every penny. A fantastic experience!

I took my whippet puppy, Freya, to her very first puppy class with Andi and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. It was our first time out together and Andi was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She gave me really clear guidance on lead work, which I found so helpful as a first-time puppy owner. Freya settled in brilliantly and I left feeling much more confident about what we’re working on. We both really enjoyed the session and I’ve already booked onto the next class – highly recommend!

We completed a 5 day K9 bootcamp for dogs and handlers with our 5 month old Belgian Malinois x GSD. Scooby was very reactive on walks, barking and going mad at every dog or person we walked past. It was so hard to keep control of him. We noticed a difference in Scooby after his very 1st lesson with Andi! She is amazing and it’s not always the dog that needs the training, it’s the handlers too a lot of the time. Andi was fantastic, so patient with us and Scooby and very knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble and she is always a message away for any help, support or guidance we need. We will be bringing Scooby to the weekend puppy class/walks now he is less reactive. Thank you Andi, your hard work with us is allowing us to enjoy Scooby and enjoy our walks.

Walking my dog used to be an ordeal — we had to go out as a two-person team just to manage him. We’d tried a couple of trainers before, but nothing really helped. Then we found K9 Boot Camp, and everything changed. Andi is excellent at what she does and clearly very experienced. She completely transformed things for us — walking the dog is now an absolute joy instead of a battle. Honestly, it’s the best money I’ve ever spent. Highly recommend K9 Boot Camp to anyone needing help with training their dog!

Andi is a brilliant trainer and has helped us with our GSD Frankie who was reactive when on the lead , we have a different dog now. Walks are a Pleasure now instead of a fight... Definately recommend.Training done in real environments not church hall vibes and it makes a difference. It shows in both owners and dogs.

I contacted Andi at K9 Bootcamp regarding my 2year old GSD (rescue) with extreme car phobia. I discussed my concerns with Andi, eg quality of life we were restricted to because of the situation with Molly freaking out near the car so we had to walk everywhere and spent all our walks local. Andi was sympathetic and understanding with our situation and offered help and reassurance. I went ahead and booked 5 Day bootcamp. Andi came to my house and set to work. Molly was challenging but with the professional approach began to accept the car, slow steps and timing was paramount to the success. and that it was not that scary after all. (Forcing her in the car was not an option) I needed her to go in the car on her own as I couldn’t lift her in.. By the 3rd day I actually drove up to Lobden and we continued our training there with lead work, obedience and socialising etc. This was all new to Molly, and she started to associate the car with nice experiences and her confidence grew. I can’t thank Andi enough for a whole new experience for both of us. Definitely would recommend 5 Star

And has been great in all the training we have done . Allowing has learnt to be more confident less reactive and a well rounded boy . We have been training with and for 2 years because we love it so much . We enjoy the group class every Sunday and the boot camp handler course . We do advance obedience which arlo loves and whistle training for recall . Andi is great with coming up with new ideas to learn and play and helps you become more confident with your dog too. She helps you become a team .

Andi is a brilliant trainer/coach. Me and my Bernese Mountain dog and I have been coming to Andi’s group classes for a while and I can honestly say it’s helped me with a giant breed dog. Andi is direct and knows what she is discussing regarding the training. I love attending the classes. We have learnt so much that we really don't need to come anymore but my Bernese mountain dog enjoys it so much carry on booking lessons. Every week you learn something new and it helps to keep you in check with the training for the dogs' benefit too, for the following week. The other people and their doggies are good fun too. You’re not alone with a cheeky/naughty doggie! Andi has made my experience with my dog so much better because I was worried I would t be able to handle him due to his size, but that is not the issue now, I attend the classes because I enjoy it and we keep on learning. And the scenery is beautiful too where the lessons are held come summer, autumn, winter and spring!

Star has been at K9 Boot Camp since she was a little pup. Andi has been great with her even doing a home visit to look at some behaviours that we didn’t understand. Star enjoys the classes which are a mix of agility training, basic commands, walking in group/socialising the dog etc. Andi has an excellent understanding of dogs behaviours! We can’t recommend K9 boot camp enough!

I completed the 5 day handler boot camp with Andi recently with my 3 year old rescue Rupert - border / Jack terrier . Rupert has separation anxiety, poor socialisation , as soon as he saw dogs from even a good distance away he would start barking and lunging on the lead and up on back legs , he pulled constantly on the lead . As I had a previous dog who was reactive I didn’t want to pass my fears on to Rupert as well so thought I could do with training as well, he also barked constantly around the house. Andi explained about dog behaviours, tone of voice and changed his collar so I had some control over Rupert compared to his harness. By the second day I felt more confident, there was a definite change in Rupert’s behaviour on the lead when introduced to other dogs - he especially loves Andis dog Tucker! Through distraction games in the training I was able to keep Rupert focused with other dogs around , I learnt not to be so soft - I’m pack leader & now have Rupert focused on me on walks on the lead . It’s been 6 weeks , we can now walk around popular dog walking areas with little to minimal noise , even had a play with a couple of other friends dogs with no issues at all , his confidence has grown so much as has mine - still work in progress but enjoying my little dog now and Andi is always on hand for friendly advice and recommendations . Couldn’t recommend Andi enough to others with reactive dogs !
