Poor service
I have been trying to get James to fix a seal and LED panel on our fridge freezer for 2 months! He asked for payment upfront and I am still waiting for him to come round and fix it. I have tried to agree a time and day and he still hasn't shown up.

Absolutely appalling communication and customer service. If you want paperwork to back up any works carried out, avoid this company at all costs. Despite asking James well over twenty times now I have been waiting more than two months for invoices and receipts, during which time I have been fobbed off, lied to and given numerous false promises.
Neeeded a washing machine repair. Came the next day to diagnose the problem. Charged me £80 and said he will come back to fix it. Then he proceeded to book and cancel visits 3 times giving different reasons to me and my partner (first it was another job then it was a family emergency, etc). After more than a week waiting we said we couldn’t wait anymore and asked to get our money back. He never gave the money back and never came. Do not use. The next person came and fixed the same day.
Fantastic service.
I called the lovely James out as my door seal had ripped leaving my washing machine inoperable. He attended the next morning (yesterday) with the part, fitted and tested it and it’s now working perfectly.
I was dreading being without the machine for a week as I’ve always got a mound of washing but within 30 hours it was sorted, by a friendly face, much cheaper than the quote I had from Bosch.

Horrendous experience with this man. Not to be trusted. I was without my cooker for weeks due to negligence. He fitted a dodgy thermostat. Now had it fixed by a reliable repair tradesperson. We were let down with visits and charged a large sum of money and were without our cooker for weeks. I have written to our MP outlining the lack of checks and regulations on this trade. Thoroughly disgusting. See photo of what was fitted as a supposedly new part.
I would not recommend this repair service. He charged my auntie to fix her fridge freezer, but the appliance developed exactly the same fault just two weeks later. When we contacted him about the issue, instead of standing by his work, he came up with a variety of excuses and avoided taking responsibility.
A reliable repair should last longer than two weeks, and good customer service means addressing problems when they reoccur. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing, and we felt let down after paying for a repair that did not solve the problem.
I have no idea who this is,if this lady gives me some info and dates I will glady look into this as I always do,if I charge i give a month's warranty with a fault incase its not apparent when I arrive,if the lady who wrote this can call me for a chat I would be very greatful to sort something out for her no worries at all

I would not recommend JWP Appliances based on my experience.
I contacted them to repair my fridge freezer and was charged £375 in cash for the work. The engineer had to visit twice because, on the first visit, he did not bring enough parts to complete the repair.
Although the issue appeared to be fixed initially, the exact same problem returned after only two weeks. When I contacted the engineer again, he came back after two days, commenting that it was very short notice. He attempted another repair but then informed me that the appliance could not be fixed after all.
As a result, I had to purchase a completely new fridge freezer, despite having already paid a substantial amount for repairs that ultimately did not solve the problem. I was disappointed by the outcome and felt that the diagnosis and repair process could have been handled more professionally.
Dishwasher problem
James came out promptly (even though it was Sunday) and diagnosed the problem with my diswasher. Gave me a very competitive quote to supply and fit required part. It will be done in a couple of days. Brendan

It’s interesting to see so many five star reviews, when my experiences with James over the course of six years have been exasperating. I expect they didn’t require any further contact after he visited.
Most recently he was called in by my wife (not by me) to fix the oven which it appears has been done. However, he took our toaster away to be “fixed” and essentially ignored
our multiple requests for him to return it, and to email an invoice of the works he did on our oven. Excuse after excuse for what was just absolute basic customer service. Only when threatened with a bad review did he return the toaster but still no invoice. What a waste of my time!
Dreadful Experience
it is 9 days since my order was placed with a £50 deposit.
I have been misled,ignored,berated , and disrespected, I have asked for
POD of the part needed, I have repeatedly sequestered a refund both have been refused with frankly ridiculous reasons/excuses, I offered criticism, this i was told was Insulting !!!!!
I worry that people less able will be frightened from complaining and lose their money. Under no circumstances have anything to do with this company

James was travelling to a job when he saw my Mum’s car get hit by another car. He stopped and went straight to check on her and help her out the car safely which was written off. He stayed with her until the ambulance arrived and has since checked to make sure she is OK. He has been very helpful since. Thank you very much James!
