Although I have not yet had services completed by Jones Tree & Plant Care, I felt compelled to leave a review. I was very concerned that our Thuja Green Giants were in trouble, as they had become much browner than usual.
Tom promptly returned my call and came to our home to assess the trees. He was on time, knowledgeable, and completely honest. He reassured me that the trees were okay and that there was no need to worry—and he didn’t charge me for the visit or his professional opinion.
We will need to have a preventative spray done in the spring, and I will absolutely be calling Jones Tree & Plant Care when the time comes.
I thank Tom for coming to my house in Smithtown and helping me with my deer problem. The deer still come to my house but are not eating my evergreens and shrubs anymore. Thank you Tom. Looking forward to the spring where he will be taking care of my tick and insect infestation on my trees and shrubs. Call Tom.
Tom is amazing! Every time I reach out, he gets back to me right away. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about every type of tree, shrub, and bush, and his prices can’t be beat. I always feel like I’m treated like family. Real-life example — I texted him a photo of our Green Giants that I thought might have a disease, and within a few hours he was at my back door checking them out. Truly the best of the best!
Tom was incredible. I recently planted 130 mix of green giants and skip laurels and started to see some browning after planting. Tom came by and took a look, coached me on a few things, advice on others and didn’t push any services because none were needed. He also didn’t want anything for the time he took to walk through and evaluate. He’s very knowledgeable and honest. I look forward to using him in the future with all of plant health needs

I texted to make an appointment to look at a row of privacy trees that were slowly turning brown and had me stumped. Jones Tree and Plant Care made an appointment to come on the next business day. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem immediately, and explained my options. Unfortunately, the trees can't be saved, but he gave me courses of actions to confirm his diagnosis and then refused to take payment for his time. The integrity of this company is unmatched. I will be calling for all of my future arborist needs!
Professional, Knowledgeable, prompt in responding to my problem and willing to help me immediately. Tom is incredible at what he does. If you are looking for "the best," Tom is your guy. Once you meet him, you will know what I am talking about. What ever your problem is, Tom will resolve it. I was concerned about killing a tree while fixing my mom's driveway, because the tree roots were damaging the driveway. Tom gave me all the information I needed to fix my mom's driveway without killing this beautiful oak tree that has been on mom's property for over 55 years. Thank you, Tom!
