He found what the cause was and gave me a few options. Decision was made and Tal fixed the problem. He was very courteous and made sure it was working properly before he left. Well I should’ve known, but this place is a scam. Hired them for a garage door tune up. My door works fine just wanted to get things tightened up. The Tech told me he was going to tighten the springs and lube the door. Apparently, that’s not part of the 99 dollar tune up. Because 10 minutes later he was finished and gave me an invoice for 431 dollars. Charged 245 to tighten a bolt. And 75 to tighten the chain. That all seems like it should be part of a “tune up”. And he should have definitely disclosed the cost if it wasn’t part of it. Total scam. Avoid this place. Update: Just to be clear to the answer below. The technician never told me of any extra charge for any of the things that aren’t included in a “tune up”. He just did them and handed me an invoice for 338 dollars more than I thought I was spending. Also, I called and asked for them to refund me at least a part of it. After 3 calls and them agreeing to refund $100, the still have not done that. This is the ONLY review I’ve ever left for a business because I can’t stand people who complain about every day issues but I can’t stand for this one. Either refund me or this review will live here indefinitely and I will make sure that nobody in Pinecrest uses your services again by reporting you to the city.

You originally scheduled a $99 tune-up, which includes a standard inspection, lubrication, and minor adjustments. During the visit, our technician identified that your door was out of balance, which is a safety issue that can lead to premature motor failure or even injury.

Before proceeding, additional work such as spring adjustment (door balance) and chain adjustment should have been clearly explained and approved and if that wasn’t communicated properly, we sincerely apologize. That’s not the experience we aim to provide.

These are not part of a basic tune-up and require additional labor and liability, which is why they are priced separately. That said, transparency is extremely important to us.

Please reach out to us directly, we would like to review your invoice with you and make this right.

My spring snapped this morning and I was worried about getting my car out. I called around and they actually delivered on same day garage door service without charging a fortune. The technician was professional, worked fast, and got everything balanced perfectly. Definitely keeping their number for the future. Highly recommend them if you’re in a jam!
