Crown pruning Two large matures trees, Oak and Copper Beech needed to be crown pruned to keep their shape. Joe and his very experienced team works carefully and professionally to complete the work and maintain the integrity of the two trees. They work together with good humour and diligence. I would fully recommend them.

Big tree work in a suburban garden We came to this house more than 40 years ago because we loved the big wild garden and mature oak trees. They survived the 1987 hurricane and feel like part of the family! They’ve had quite a lot of attention over the years, but some serious work was needed. J J & B were recommended by a neighbour and it was reassuring to have Joe Winder’s survey and a very detailed explanation and quotation for the work each tree needed. He understood that preservation was the goal and was attentive to the aesthetics of maintaining a well-shaped crown with balancing the safety issues - iin a storm, the rrees could potentially shed branches into neighbouring gardens. The job took over four days and the team were great, It was a pleasure to see the organisation and efficiency of the operation. I could see they did their best to avoid tramping over borders etc and all the debris was cleared away every day. They were nice guys to have around and we enjoyed a few laughs as well. Would definitely recommend if you need a really professional job from a reliable team.

From the initial site visit advising what work would be needed on the trees, advise on what to submit to the council planning team (we live in a conservative area) to the actual work , the team were very professional and exceptionally hard working. Professional service - 10/10 - So happy First made contact with JJ&B by looking on Bromley Council Approved contractors. Requested a meeting to discuss works in a neighbouring garden, attend all meetings with neighbours to provide a cost and to discuss works. Due to the complexity of the works between 3 houses it did involve more input from JB & B than a standard job. Joe from the company kept all parties involved updated and arranged all dates to suit both parties. All completed works were carried out to an exceptional standard and left the site clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and so happy with the work. Thanks

Chestnut and hazel trees reshaped. I first used Joe's company 21 years ago to fell a cherry tree. I was so pleased with the work then that when the trees in my now mature garden needed shaping it was a no brainer to call Joe again. Would totally recommend. The team are friendly, super professional and it is clear they are experts and love their work. I am very happy with everything - the garden is looking lighter and was left tidy as the guys clear up so well.

Tree removal First time using JJ&B for an urgent case. Joe responded very quickly and kept me updated as he was trying to schedule us in and tracking the wind speeds. Very professional operation carried out on a challenging feat. I must make special mention of Buzz who had nerves of steel it would seem! Excellent service Contacted Joe and he was with me within half an hour to give me a quote for tree removal. Managed to do this in a few days- despite being on top of Christmas. Really nice guys worked hard in the pouring rain. Tidied everything up afterwards and took the rubbish with them. Price was very reasonable. Cannot recommend them enough and will use them again. An excellent service from Joe and his team! Pollarded a holly tree which was struggling with the aim of encouraging new growth. Also removed dead stems of a pittosporum – reduced and re-shaped lower growth to create a uniform, tight neat shape with aim of allowing new growth to regenerate. The team of three who did the work were all very efficient in clearing everything up as well, leaving the garden tidy. The work was done quickly and with no fuss. Very pleased.

Large oak tree removal Joe was extremely helpful with getting a survey for some fungus growing on an old oak tree in ky garden. The arborist survey recommended a fell and the team did a great job removing the tree both safely and efficiently. The guys put in a real shift and were very knowledgeable. I also had Al the stump ground out when I asked for an additional smaller stump to be removed they were more than happy to help with that too. Really good service and great communication throughout.
