I met Humberto (Bert) approximately 20 + years ago through a mutual friend. Bert helped me with finding and designing my wife's engagement/wedding band (we had gone to a few other jewelry's before with no luck). He also helped us find a diamond that matched a diamond my wife already had to make them into a pair of earrings. He has also helped us with other jewelry and Rolex watches. We have gone a few times to Jewels of Manaco and not purchased anything and still treated with respect/courtesy (very honest and respectful/smart person). I strongly recommend Bert if you're looking for an honest person to do business with (prices to jewelry/watches are very reasonable). Robert M

Amazing store and people. Humberto found me my Rolex timepiece, and patiently dealt with me being picky about the dial; went out of the way to find one that I envisioned. Grade A+ on expertise and customer service! Highly recommend.

In 2014 after taking my Rolex to "allegedly" the best jewelry store in Burlingame for service, I received my watch back service 6 weeks later with a different band. I spoke to the owner at the time and he denied the band had been switch. I asked if the repairs took place locally or in house. He then shared that they sent the watch to LA for the service and continued to deny the band had been switched. I was never told the watch was being shipped to LA for service at the time I took it in for service. I was left with nothing to do but pay for my watch and leave. After wearing the watch for 2 months it stopped running again. I have had this watch since 1980 and never once did it ever stop. In actuality this was the first service I did on the watch after wearing it for 34 years. It ran like a clock as they say. I was so annoyed and frustrated that I put it in my jewelry box and there it stayed until November of this year. My daughter asked me this year where my Rolex was and since I no longer wore it might it be something I would give to her. I told her it needed service and maybe a repair so I did not know when it would be available for her. Enter Humberto & Jewels of Monaco. I went speak to Humberto after seeing that he specialized in Rolex watches. I told him my story and he said he would fix my watch but he did not want me to leave it with him until I had done due diligence on him and his shop. He suggested I check reviews online and ask around about his work. Very honest of him and I immediately knew he was a trustworthy jeweler. I did ask around and found several people who had frequented this store. I went back with my watch. Not only did fix my watch but he sold me a Rolex band for a very fair price to replace the band that was put on my watch in LA. He did the service, replace the band and replaced the face all in a couple of weeks so I could give the watch to my daughter as a Christmas gift! I shopped around for a long time looking for a 2 carat diamond with beautiful color and sparkle. I got the most fantastic deal on the stone that my fiancé is mesmerized by it to this day. The customer service is fantastic. The owner is charming, but not a salesman. He is more of a teacher. Yo You're making a mistake if you don't at least price things here. He also has beautiful watches.

He is very knowledgeable and gives great advice about jewelry, not to mention an amazing client service. I took in an old diamond watch to Humberto and he came up with the idea to use the diamonds for earrings, keeping some of the shape of the original piece. They turned out beautifully and the price was a good value. I also bought a beautiful ring (tempted while at the store!) and it was a very good price relative to other jewelers. Humberto is so nice to work with.

I had my grandfathers ring redesigned into a woman's ring by Humberto. He listened very carefully that I did not want the integrity or structure of the ring changed, but wanted it simply enhanced and designed for a women. He presented me with a beautiful sapphire and enhanced the stone with a few diamonds to really make it sparkle. The ring is beautiful and I will wear it and cherish a ring that has not been worn for 70 years. Humberto is very easy to work with and has great suggestions for making the jewelry one of a kind and special.

I came to Jewels of Monaco to get a battery replaced in my watch. Hamberto was very kind to me and treated me like I was buying an expensive piece of jewelry from him, because of the way he treated me, I walked outside and immediately came back to the store and ordered a ring that my husband told me to design and purchase. My ring of course turned out amazing and it will be a family air loom. Every time I came into the store I was treated like I was his only customer from the first time when I just came to replace the battery for my watch to the last time when I picked up my custom designed ring.

Such an amazing experience over multiple purchases. For each of my daughters I wanted to buy them something special for their 18th birthday. Working with Humberto was fantastic. I got to know him as a person, and he expressed such interest in finding something each of my daughters would love (and they did!). Humberto was patient, gave me great advice throughout the process, kept searching and working with me until we found something perfect--and throughout never once did I feel any pressure. Pricing was very fair and reasonable with terrific quality (both validated by separate appraisal post-purchase). This ended up being an incredibly fun and enjoyable experience. In the process of buying several gifts I developed a new friendship with Humberto, and both of my daughters absolutely love their birthday gifts.
