I signed up for Jennifer's program on the recommendation of a friend who was really happy with the service. My finances were already in good order, but I wanted to see if there was more I could be doing now to have a more secure retirement later. Jennifer did not disappoint. She was able to look at my financial picture with fresh and objective eyes, giving me some great ideas of how to restructure things moving forward. Her recommendations were specific and impactful, and I will consult with her again in the future as my situation changes. I also valued that Jennifer is not tied to any investment companies, so I knew the advice she was giving me was independent and unbiased. I recommend her highly.
If you are looking for a Financial/Investment Coach Then I would highly recommend Jennifer Thompson! In the past, when I have worked with Financial Advisors they were mainly out for their own commission then really teaching me how to make my money grow. They would just get me to sign up for Mutual Funds and Life Insurance, which gives them a big commission and MER and then I wouldn't hear from them in a year. The Mutual Fund wasn't really working hard for me and the Life Insurance made me feel more "Adult". But I never felt a trust with my Financial Advisor. And although I had my Financial Advisor through WFG, who also teaches Financial Literacy I wasn't really any wiser.
Since working. with Jennifer for the past 4 months she taught me to get away from Mutual Funds, she taught me why I don;t need Life Insurance if I don't have dependants, and she inspired me to break away from my Financial Advisor (along with their commissions and MER's) and get into self-directed investing, allowing me to have more control with my money and keep more in MY investments. And if you look into it you could be saving THOUSANDS of dollars in the long run by getting into self-directed. Along with that, through Jennifer's guidance, got me a huge return on my taxes which allowed me to reinvest it and make it grow even more!
Aside from the financial aspect, Jennifer won me over the moment I first did a meet-and-greet with her over Zoom. I wanted to see if we would gel well and within minutes I knew we would get along just fine. She has a positive and nurturing spirit about her! She is kind, funny, enthusiastic, an encouraging Coach, who actually teaches! She knows a lot about the financial game from working in the industry for many years. She lives within her values and integrity. She makes you feel safe and never judged! She wants your money to grow and she wants YOU to grow so you may life your best life!
Jennifer is the real deal! She is knowledgeable and also passionate! She has taken me from blindly accepting what my broker was telling me to empowering myself. I now feel like I understand what is going on with my money. Thank you Jennifer!!!
