This man is absolutely amazing, I took the unconventional route of getting an inspection on a rental apartment I was moving into. they had a 30 day satisfaction period, he showed me every flaw, checked for leaks in the ceiling due to pass damage, checked the electrical, outlets, water, LITERALLY EVERYTHING. He didn’t miss a beat. Informed me about the dangers I had never even heard of with radon, and advocated for me with my complex when they wouldn’t give me any information about my units issues. He did everything in his power to help me get the information, so I wouldn’t have to pay for something they should have done! When they unfortunately refused any further information he moved around his schedule so he could test my apartment! As a young woman learning all these new things he gave me peace of mind throughout this entire transition. I would quite literally recommend this man to anyone that will listen!

I had an excellent experience with Jeff with J&J Home Inspection, after hiring them independently to conduct particulate matter testing, for fiberglass contamination in my home. I reached out after the initial testing arranged through the insurance process appeared to be limited in scope, and I felt the severity of the situation had not been fully documented. I needed a more thorough evaluation with clear documentation to better support my homeowners insurance claim. From the beginning, Jeff was responsive, respectful, and easy to work with. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the testing process, and answer my questions in a way that helped me understand what was being evaluated and why. What stood out most was the level of care, integrity, and professionalism Jeff brought to the situation. I never felt dismissed, rushed, or treated like just another job. Jeff seemed genuinely concerned about the amount of money I was having to spend out of pocket and made it clear that the work needed to be done correctly, thoroughly, and in a way that could be clearly understood by everyone involved. That meant a lot to me. In a situation that already felt overwhelming and financially stressful, Jeff’s patience, empathy, and attention to detail gave me confidence that the testing and documentation were being handled the right way. Detailed and meticulous are the first words that come to mind when recalling my home inspection experience with Jeff. During our first contact on the phone, he thoroughly explained his method of inspecting, how the report would be written and the amount of time it would take. The person he presented over the phone was the same one I met on site. Jeff did not rush through the home. I firmly believe his pace during the inspection is the reason why he discovered crucial issues I don't think other inspectors would have found. My house is less than 2 years old. He got up on the roof and discovered there was a row of shingles missing on the ridge vent. The seller hired a professional roofer to repair it before closing. This no doubt shielded me from major future expenses and potential water damage to my house. I was so satisfied with Jeff's work that I hired him again to reinspect my home to examine the repairs the seller had done based on his initial findings. His work and demeanor added value to my overall home buying experience. Because of the flaws he discovered, I feel confident in my purchase and know I will move into a technically solid dwelling.
