They even were able to have the priest come and open the church for us, to see if their names were in the parish register. I appreciated seeing where my relatives lived, their church & town. Wow, is there a way I can give Joe and Dario 10 stars? I would if I could. I had been trying to get a certified copy of a birth certificate from a town near Naples for many months. I even worked with a different service provider who got nowhere trying to help me despite their best efforts. Once I contacted Joe I had the official signed document in my hands writhing a matter of weeks! Communication was excellent. Shipping was coordinated and tracked. I was really struggling to get solid information about my Italian ancestors due the fact that Italian births, deaths and marriages records are held locally at churches and municipal offices and are rarely digitised. I found Joe online and hey presto, several months later he had traced my family back on both sides several hundred years!! Very easy to communicate given his Italian American background and information was researched and presented in an easily digestible format.
Joe's assistance in making the heritage portion of our trip to Italy spectacular, was a gift!! I had an excellent experience with Italian Genealogy Pro. Joe and Dario successfully located and retrieved birth certificates for six different Italian ancestors for my citizenship case.
They were responsive to emails, knowledgeable about the Italian records process and local comuni, and professional throughout. Some of the records were challenging to locate, and they handled everything efficiently.
I highly recommend them for Italian dual citizenship or genealogical research. The process does take some time (months in some cases), but that's largely out of their hands and more of function of local comune timelines.

We had a fabulous experience with ItalianGenealogyPro! We sent them our family tree in preparation to have them guide us to two towns in Campania from where my great grandparents came. Joe and Dario actually sent documentation prior to the trip to take my tree back another generation on one line. Then, for our big very full day together, they took us to first my great grandfather's town. We found the family church, we visited the cemetery, and we found the streets where they came from, and we also went to their version of "town hall." We got very lucky - they showed me my great grandfather's birth record and even gave me an official copy with a seal to take home! We stayed at Joe's B&B - Villa Palmira in Quadrelle. The apartment was fantastic! Huge and fully appointed. We then spent the afternoon in Quadrelle, where my great grandmother was from. Again, we visited the family church and cemetery and walked the streets where my family lived. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Joe and Mario were hugely helpful, and I've been recommending them to others who are looking for genealogy help or tours in the regions of Italy they cover. I only wish they covered Calabria, where we need to visit next!
