Apple Genius Bar said I needed to replace the damaged logical board on my Macbook Pro and that I would lose all my data on the hard drive in the process.
IT-Tech Online did replace the logical board and successfully transferred all my data to the new logical board/drive for a similar cost.

I had a really good experience with IT-Tech Online in Bentleigh East, especially with Frances.
My second hand 14-inch 2021 MacBook Pro had severe liquid damage after a hot starchy water spill and completely stopped powering on. I was honestly expecting the machine to be finished. They assessed it properly, explained the situation clearly, and were realistic with me about the risks instead of overpromising.
What I appreciated most was that they handled it in a very fair way. The pricing was clear, they kept me updated as they investigated further, and the final arrangement was straightforward: a fixed repair price if successful, and no charge if they couldn’t bring it back. That gave me a lot more confidence in leaving the machine with them.
The repair took around 3 weeks, which made sense given the complexity of the issue, and in the end they actually revived the laptop. The machine is back on, the display looks great, the speakers are working well, and overall it feels like they genuinely did serious work rather than some rushed surface-level fix.
Frances was especially kind, patient, and easy to deal with throughout the process. She was warm, professional, and communicated in a way that made a stressful situation much easier to manage.
Liquid damage is awful and never a fun repair, but based on my experience these people are legitimate, careful, and clearly know what they’re doing. I’m very grateful they brought the machine back from the dead.

I want to leave a detailed review because this was a stressful repair and IT-Tech Online handled it far better than I expected.
I brought in a 14-inch 2021 MacBook Pro that had suffered liquid damage from a hot starchy water spill. The laptop had completely stopped turning on. No power, no normal signs of life, and from what I had already been told elsewhere, it sounded like the kind of problem that often gets written off as not worth fixing.
From the start, IT-Tech felt like a different category of repair shop. They were realistic about the risks, but they also clearly understood that this was a board-level problem and not something that could be solved with a superficial clean. What I appreciated was that they did not pressure me into an open-ended money pit. The arrangement was clear: if they could fix it, there would be a set repair cost, and if they could not, I would not be charged. That mattered a lot.
Frances in particular was excellent to deal with. She was kind, calm, and professional throughout the whole process. She communicated updates clearly, explained where things were at, and made a pretty awful situation feel manageable. When you are handing over an expensive machine that seems dead, that kind of communication matters a lot.
The repair itself took around 3 weeks, which to me actually made the whole process more credible. This was not some rushed same-day guess. It was clearly something that took proper investigation, labour, and probably sourcing or deeper board work. In the end, they got the machine working again.
When I picked it up, the MacBook powered on properly, the display looked great, the speakers were working well, and overall it was obvious that the laptop had genuinely been brought back to life. That was a huge relief. They also gave me a receipt and explained the warranty.
Overall, I found them fair, technically competent, and trustworthy. I would especially like to thank Frances for being so decent and helpful through the whole thing. Liquid damage repairs are never simple, but based on my experience, IT-Tech Online are the kind of people you want handling that kind of job.

This store used to pride itself on PC repairs. This included , desktops, towers etc. the signage everywhere continues to say PC repairs. Imagine my disgust to taking my PC desktop for a power unit replacement only to be told “we don’t do that here anymore”.
He only concentrates on Mac and notebooks…
Obviously , not a full PC repair shop , but now only a specialist outlet.
Change your signage, and be specific on your niche repairs. Don’t dupe people into thinking you do all PC repairs.

I can’t recommend this IT specialist highly enough! They repaired my MacBook screen and keyboard the same day for a fraction of what I was quoted at Apple. I though my Macbook is a goner. Other shops said that the logic board needs to be replaced and servicing was more than my budget. After researching potential repairers, I engaged IT-Tech Online to replace the increasingly problematic keyboard on my 2017 MacBook Pro. I did so on the basis of IT-Tech Online's excellent and informative Web Site, their Google customer reviews and a preliminary visit to their shop to discuss a same day repair with Frances. On dropping off my device at 11:30am, Francis observed it rocked on a flat surface indicating a swollen battery. As the device had for some time, been displaying a "Service Battery" warning, I arranged for device to be repaired with a both a new keyboard and a new battery. I picked up the repaired device the same day at 5:30pm where Frances went through the changes and we both verified a successful repair. Frances provided useful tips on cleaning the keyboard and screen and usage for long-term battery health along with a 6 month warranty on the repairs. I am very happy with the cost of repairs and the outstanding and friendly service. Based on my experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending IT-Tech Online.
