I’ve been diving with Island Diving for years, and they are truly exceptional. Birdy and his entire team are fantastic—professional, safety-focused, and incredibly friendly. They know the local dive sites inside and out and always make every trip feel special. The boat is very comfortable and features a great diving platform, which makes getting in and out of the water so easy. Scuba diving with Birdy is always the highlight of my trip to St. Barths, and I already look forward to coming back and diving with them again. Highly recommend Island Diving to anyone visiting St. Barths who wants an unforgettable underwater adventure! 🌊🐠🤿🐢🦈

Certainement la plus belle plongée dans les Caraïbes que j’ai pu faire au Pain de Sucre, des coraux multicolores, des poissons de toutes les couleurs, banc de Barracuda, langoustes, tortues vertes, raie pastenague, requin dormeur et requin récif…..je n’avais pas plongé depuis 3 ans mais l’équipe m’a bien encadré et j’ai donc pu bien profiter. Je recommande absolument.🙏

Diving in the nature reserve of St. Barthélemy is like swimming in an aquarium: colorful corals, seagrass meadows, rock formations, schools of fish of all kinds, sharks, turtles, rays—simply incredible. One of the most beautiful dives in the Caribbean and definitely a clear recommendation. Scheduling was very easy via email. Communication was always smooth and hassle-free. There was also a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere on the boat. All in all, an absolute diving recommendation for this dive center.

We had a wonderful snorkeling trip! My son is seven years old and it was his first time snorkeling. The captain and crew took great care to make sure that his first experience was a successful and safe one we went to a calm spot that was good for kids and we saw three beautiful turtles as well as a variety of other interesting fish all in all it was a wonderful experience.

★★★★★ I did three guided dives with Birdie (Bertrand) and it was easily one of the best dive experiences I’ve had in the Caribbean. Birdie knows the local underwater sites incredibly well and shares loads of interesting facts about the marine life — fish, corals, and everything in between — without turning it into a boring lecture. You can tell he genuinely cares about the reef, and it was great to see how mindful he is about coral protection and supporting local coral growth. Highlights? An amazing wreck dive where a big lobster has basically claimed the place as its home, plus a one-meter stingray hiding in the structure. The wreck is very broken up, but you can still clearly see the diesel engine, covered in marine life. On another dive, we found a nursing shark resting between boulders — calm, majestic, and a little bit “I live here, please don’t redecorate.” Plenty of colorful Caribbean corals and lots of different reef fish on every dive. Professional, knowledgeable, reef-friendly, and just a really fun guide to be in the water with. Highly recommended.

Je suis allé plongé avec Birdy et autant vous dire que c’était excellent ! Authenticité et confort étaient autant rendez vous ! Nous avons vu une raie léopard et de superbes coraux, Birdy vous met très vite à l’aise et est très professionnel, son bateau très spacieux ! Merci encore et à très vite pour une nouvelle plongée.

Awesome 2 dives with Capt Birdy. He was knowledgeable, funny and a great scuba guide. He took some nice photos and videos that he shared with us and all of his gear was in great condition. If you are visiting St Barths, he is the guy to scuba with.

Absolutely Phenomenal Dive Experience with Island Divers in St. Barths! Our dive with Island Divers was nothing short of unforgettable. Birdy, our incredible instructor, took us to two amazing sites—first, a vibrant reef bursting with colorful coral and marine life, and then a hauntingly beautiful wreck that was thrilling to explore. The underwater scenery was some of the best we’ve ever seen. But what truly set the experience apart was Birdy himself. He’s the perfect combination of knowledgeable, laid-back, and passionate. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a safe, fun, and memorable dive. The boat was also top-notch—spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for divers. From start to finish, everything was handled with care and professionalism. Easily a five-star experience. Birdy is unbelieveble!!!! He was very reasonable in price and a great dive master. He helped some divers with limited experience and took us to dive site that had a lot of marine life including turtles, stingrays and many types of fish. We can’t recommend him enough.

I recently went on my very first scuba diving trip, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the underwater world from Island Diving in St Barths! From the moment I stepped on the boat, Birdy and Esteban made everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of. Birdy was humorous, incredibly patient with all of us on board (including kids) and explained everything clearly, easing any nervousness we all had as beginners. Once I got in the water, it was like entering a completely different world—calm, colorful, and full of life. I was amazed by the variety of marine creatures we saw, from vibrant fish to beautiful corals. It truly felt like floating through a living aquarium. What stood out most was how safe and supported I felt throughout the entire experience. The team was professional, attentive, and genuinely excited to share their passion for diving. We all left the water with a huge smile and a new appreciation for the ocean. If you’re considering scuba diving for the first time or as seasoned experts, I absolutely recommend taking the plunge with Birdy and Island Diving—you won’t regret it!

Plongée organisée pour mon fils (second baptême) et sa cousine (premier baptême) et tout s'est très bien déroulé. Approche de la plongée décomplexée. J'ai apprécié la présentation des poissons qu'ils allaient pouvoir potentiellement voir dans la réserve marine avant de plonger. Les deux sont remontés ravis.

Had an amazing dive with Birdie. He was very accomodating when scheduling and just a fun and engaging guy when we connected. The dive was fantastic and we saw a ton of beautiful fish and sealife. Birdie was great at pointing out things that I would have otherwise missed. I've dove in Hawaii, Bahamas, Bermuda and fiji to name a few and this was definitly one of my favorite dives. I'd most definitly dive with Birdie and Island Diving again!

I just had five incredible dives with Island Diving. It was my first trip to St. Barts. After I arrived last week I went to the harbor the day before my dive to make sure that I knew where to show up. A woman from Serial Divers happened to be on the dock so I inquired about the location of Island Divers. She told me that Island Diving was a FAKE diving company! Not surprisingly, after this interaction, I was anxious and not sure what to expect. Little did I know that I was about to experience five spectacular dives over the next few days! I arrived with my brand new BCD and regulator. Birdy and Estephan helped me set up my equipment with detail and safety in mind. They were helpful to all of the divers for anything that they needed.They answered questions, helped people on and off the boat and explained details clearly. Birdy has a playful sense of humor and warmth about him that adds a lightness and joy to the experience. The boat is shaded and comfortable. The marine life was exquisite. We saw gigantic lobsters, stingrays, sharks, turtles, beautiful fish and coral. This is definitely NOT A FAKE diving company. I wish that I could give it ten stars! Looking forward to returning next year for more diving. Highly recommend without reservation. Thank you Birdy

Birdy took us diving today. Amazing Dive! Multiple reef sharks, nurse shark, spotted Eagle rays, turtle, puffer fish, lots of lobsters, school of jacks, huge barracuda at a cleaning station, bla bla. One of the best dives I’ve had in a long time. Birdy is awesome, what a great personality. Night dive tomorrow!!
