I go there about every other month for my client, I buy Basa filets and lemons; everyone is VERY Nice and very simple to get my purchase and Good prices spend about $30

Island Fish is the place to go for the best seafood. Nestled away in Farmingville you’ll find a great deal on Lobsters of many varieties and prices. King crab, snow crab, etc. I forgot to mention the Shrimp, scallops, chilean seabass plus so much more. Best of all almost everything can be made for you to be reheated or try catering you’ll be so happy you did. I’ve been a customer for many years every holiday my family enjoys an array of fresh seafood from Long Island Fish.

Choices choices choices oh my goodness. This guy moved off the main road location to his packaging warehouse where he now sells out of and the options are abound. Yes it's all frozen but frozen seafood is still damn good. I just went in for some lobster tails but was insisted on a full tour of all of his probably 20 full size freezers that were all well stocked and decently priced. The customer service level and friendliness off the staff was fantastic. Also the gentleman who runs the store seems to genuinely enjoy what he does and is super knowledgeable about all his products. With summer on tap I'll probably become a regular here.

The woman that works there is extremely rude. Speaks to the employees in such a condescending way. The Lobster Bisque is only Bisque. There are other fish markets a couple of towns away. Additionally, I found a Butcher that makes Lobster bisque with Lobster.
I think you might have us confused with a different fish market. Our employees are always polite to everyone that comes thru our doors. We are a family oriented business.
As for our homemade lobster bisque, it’s a true bisque, which means the lobster meat is puréed. If there was pieces of lobster in it, that would make it a chowder, Now you’ll know the difference for the future.

They recently moved locations to a residential area. initially I thought we went the wrong way until we got to the gate. The land is well manicured and reminded me of a park in the middle of fatmingville. The variety and quality of seafood they stock was impressive. The shop is also spotless and didn't really have that fishy smell.
A fish market should never smell fishy, and here at Island Fish, you will NEVER experience that because we ALWAYS carry fresh seafood. Come visit us again

I find that comment hilarious since our warehouse doesn’t sell cooked food, and we sell mostly frozen product that doesn’t smell, so our trash is mostly cardboard. Also our warehouse is at a dead end on a 2+ acre lot that backs up to woods. Obviously you’re commenting on the wrong place.
We still can prepare some of the same meals we used to serve in the store at our warehouse, for you to take home and cook. Come back anytime and we can help you with any of your seafood needs. Thanks
