If you are using this company there is probably a reason why, and they totally understood that. They answered my call at 5am in the morning and were with me within 2 hours, driving from London to support. The gentleman that answered my call kept in constant contact with me with updates and the gentleman that fitted the up the board was just as genuine. I called Instant Glass and Glazing as my balcony door, which has a Dorma door mechanism, had broken through wind damage and I wasn’t able to keep the door open. I called Instant Glass and Glazing and they said they had a team in the area — and lo and behold, they actually had the part on the van. I couldn’t believe it. They didn’t even have to order the part, they already had it with them.
David came round with another guy and they had it all fixed within 15–20 minutes. I could not be more pleased with the service. Very professional outfit and I would highly recommend Instant Glass

There were a few issues along the way and the experience was not completely straightforward, but the company remained calm, professional, and polite throughout. The work was carried out to a decent standard, and in the end we were able to reach an amicable solution.
They were a little on the expensive side, but overall they achieved a result and handled things professionally.

We would like to provide some additional context regarding the events of this evening. We attended following an emergency call-out to secure a glass panel on a door, and a clear cost was agreed in advance over the phone.
Approximately one hour into our journey, we received a request to cancel the works. As we were already within approximately 20 minutes of the site, we advised accordingly but were subsequently instructed not to attend.
In the interest of fairness and to reach an amicable resolution, we worked with you to adjust the cost to a reduced day rate and proceeded to complete the work to a high standard.
Given the circumstances and our efforts to be accommodating, we were somewhat surprised by the overall tone of your review. Nevertheless, we are pleased that a satisfactory outcome was ultimately achieved.

Shop around if I were you
Have used this company a few times but my advice would be to shop around as they've become very expensive. £400 to repair a door lock is just too much imo. Communication is poor and it took ages to get done

Definitely recommend this company. This is the second time we have used them, firstly to fit a new uvpc sash window and recently to replicate a patio door that is no longer available. They have provided an amazing servive from start to finish.Excellent communication from the company and the guys that did the work of removing and fitting were quick, polite and tidied up afterwards. Outstanding work and service! Highly recommended.
The soft close mechanism on a really high end bespoke wetroom door we have stopped working, so the bespoke glass door would slam.
We had several builders and even another special glazer look at it and they had no idea where to start, what parts we needed, where to get them, etc.
I then stumbled across Instant Glass and Glazing and they came around promptly. The spent a lot of time removing bits of the fixings, had a good look "behind the scenes" to see how it was all put together and then gave me a very reasonable quote.
When the parts arrived, two of them came round to fix the glass door's mechanism.
They could not have been better: polite, clean, very thorugh, minimum cutting into wall as needed, etc. They put down dust sheets and then cleared up so that you wouldn't actually know that there had been workmen onsite. The guys were just a pleasure to work with and they were very thorough in what they did.
What made it even better is that they are actually all really passionate about glass. We have a lot of structural and curved glass in our home and this really fascinated them. We shared a real passion for this.
We will definitely have them do the rather challenging glazing needed for the next building project we have just started on.

Professional, quick response, and great job complete.
Very polite, helpful, and responded to me very quickly to diagnose the problem, send me the quote, and organised to visit and fix the property within 72 hours. The two people who came to complete the work did a great job. Dissembling the glass and balustrade on the balcony, and re assembling it, adding a screw to keep it together, and rectifying the problem. Super happy with the work. I didn’t shop around, but thought price was reasonable, and I trusted that they knew what they were doing, which is why I went along with them.
We booked over the Christmas holiday period to have our bi-fold doors looked at as it seemed like they had dropped slightly.
They arrived today on time and dealt with the problem very professionally and were a very nice team..

EN25LVD - I can not comment on the work of this company but I can comment on the Driver of this van causing issues on the road, pure arrogance not giving way as they should making HGVs slam on the brakes because they don’t want to stop at a busy roundabout. Poor driving people like this causes accidents.
