Markell did such an amazing job at a home I am looking to buy. Highly recommend to use Inspection Time. Definitely will be calling them again if I look at a different house and will absolutely ask for Markell again ! Recommend them 100%!!!!!! The Inspection Report was super detailed and accurate.

We hired Inspection Time to assist us with the multi-phase inspections of our new home being built in Texas. This has been extremely helpful for us as we currently live out of state. They have been very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Inspection Time is also military friendly and have provided us with a discount of the total price, as appreciation of my military service.
One of the first Inspection Time team members I've had the pleasure of interacting with has been Renee. Renee is awesome and never hesitates to take her time while speaking with me to ensure that I stay well informed and updated on the processes and helping me with coordinating appointments for my inspector (Aaron Davis) to complete his inspections.
Aaron has been extremely attentive and great in keeping me updated with his observations and findings when inspecting our building site. Aaron also provides me with several photographs of the information that he is providing me, which is extremely helpful as I am unable to be there in person. Aaron has went to our site numerous times over the past few days just to check the progress of our site to complete the inspection of our foundation prior to the concrete pour this week.
I am very thankful for Aaron, Renee and the team at Inspection Time and look forward to their continued expertise and assistance during the remainder of our building process. I would recommend anyone purchasing a new home, new build or existing home, to hire Inspection Time to assist you with having your new home inspected.
We had the second phase (pre drywall inspection) of the multi phase inspections completed. It wasn't as informative as we were expecting.
(On a side note) Unfortunately, we feel the builder didn't allow us adequate time to schedule the pre drywall inspection and waited until the day prior to the insulation and drywall was scheduled to begin, for the inspector to complete their inspection. My wife and I are not builders or inspectors and maybe this is common practice but we felt it was a bit short notice.
We definitely want to acknowledge and appreciate Aaron for being able to fit us in his schedule to complete the pre drywall inspection with just a days notice. But were disappointed that I never received a video narrative or synopsis of the inspection and/or findings or never received a follow-up call to go over any of the inspection, what was observed and/or the findings, as we were informed we would receive with these inspections.
This is especially vital for us, with us currently living in another state and unable to be on site in person. Video documentation and communication is extremely important for us during this process, and a major factor we considered while deciding which inspection team to help us with this major investment for our family.
We definitely appreciate all the hard work and long hours that everyone on the Inspection Time team puts in each day.

I do not recommend this company for home inspections.
This inspection was completed in 2024, and LARRY failed to identify major, fundamental ssues that materially affect the property’s condition and performance. The report did not reflect accurate, complete assessment of the home’s ventilation system. Specifically:
Insufficient venting for a pier-and-beam structure: The inspector did not mention that the property has only three (3) vents total serving the entire pier-and-beam understructure.
Improper / ineffective vent placement: The only installed vents were not functioning as intended. The homeowners placed these vents over concrete and wood, which prevents proper crossflow and airflow through the crawlspace/understructure. As a result, the vents are essentially ineffective.
We now have thousands of dollars in repairs due to moisture from lack of ventilation. Save your time and money on a more professional company/individual.

We would, however, like to provide some clarification regarding the inspection, which was performed approximately two years ago in 2024. A Texas home inspection is a visual, performance-based inspection of accessible systems and components as they exist at the time of the inspection. At that time, ventilation openings were present, and the inspector did not observe conditions indicating that the ventilation was failing to perform as intended.
Home inspectors cannot remove or dismantle installed building materials to determine conditions that may be concealed behind or beneath them. Therefore, an obstruction behind a vent involving concrete, wood, or other concealed materials may not be discoverable during a visual inspection.
Importantly, the inspection did identify wood rot beneath the home. That condition was documented in the inspection report, and further evaluation by a qualified professional was recommended.
The report also documented flat and negative grading around the home and recommended further evaluation/correction. Improper grading can contribute to water accumulating near the foundation and potentially introduce additional moisture into a crawl space. This is important because crawl-space moisture can have multiple contributing factors, and ventilation alone may not necessarily be the sole cause.
We are unaware whether the recommended further evaluations and corrections identified in the original report were completed prior to or after the purchase of the home.
We take concerns like yours seriously, and we are sincerely sorry that you are now dealing with moisture-related repairs. At the same time, conditions discovered approximately two years after an inspection do not necessarily establish what conditions were present, visible, or performing at the time of the original inspection.
Our report documented the observable concerns beneath and around the home and recommended further evaluation where appropriate. We would be happy to review the original report and inspection findings with you directly and discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

I appreciate him taking time to show me the various concerns he found instead of showing me pictures, except I didn't go all the way on roof. He provided me information about my AC and the lack of cooling all the rooms and what could be done. He is licensed to perform, but because of his ethical standards, informed me he couldn't be the one to perform those services. Neither did he provide me any companies, but what he did do was inform me what I should be looking for in a company to make these repairs.

Let me start off first by saying Michael Purks is a good man and does a good job and it’s very knowledgeable but as far as the inspection, it’s just a visual inspection and I would suggest That if you are buying a home Seek a professional Inspection for every category separately be it air conditioner, plumbing appliances electrical.a visual inspection is not thorough enough when you are making one of the biggest purchases in your lifetime.

Robert was absolutely fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for a better home inspector. He was extremely thorough and took the time to carefully go through every detail of the home. You can genuinely tell that he cares about doing a great job and making sure his clients are fully informed.
